    DSquared Suede Sneakers

If you want a unique looking pair of sneaks, check out these DSquared Suede Logo Sneakers.  These kicks combine a pseudo retro look with some new age color and texture combos.  Made in Italy, these are some high-end shoes that cost upwards of about $400.

With bright yellow, ocean blue, brownish gray and white as the main colors, these shoes are sure to stand out.  The yellow straps on the side of the shoe pressed against the blue is well done and gives the shoe a hot look.

The white laces on the white tongue works wonderfully, with the logo placed just above the laces.  While these kicks aren’t right for every budget, they’d be nice for a change of pace look. View More Photos/Info

Dolce & Gabbana Signature High Top

These Dolce & Gabbana Signature High Top sneakers have some old school flavor.

The canvas shoes have some nice touches, including the D&G logo and signature on the outer side and stripped edges on the sole.

I don’t think you’d ever wear these to play ball, because they probably have no support. But they are a pretty nice looking shoe to wear for fall.

They come in Euro sizes and run about $160 to $180 at major department stores and D&G stores.

Check out the rest of the pictures for close-ups.

  • Stussy, Hectic and Undefeated NB MT580 push out “3 The Hard Way”.
By on September 26th, 2007 | No Comments Comments

Stussy, Hectic and Undefeated NB MT580 are in a love triangle. Don’t you just love it when there are three in the family? The product is “3 The Hard Way”, a very special hybrid. This is a sneak preview. The launch date is yet to be announced. In case you’re wondering, this is not a wild child product but a re-working on the New Balance MT580. This new combo is released in three colors – yellow, dark brown and gold. The yellow pair uses sleek leather and a mesh fabric. The chocolate brown and gold pairs use seasoned leather and shiny mesh fabric.

While the yellow “3 The Hard Way” is a good choice for day wear, the other two varieties of shiny sneakers will drum up your looks for any night outing. The subtle colors of chocolate and mild gold convey elegance. The reticent look projects more class and good taste.I think the overall design of the shoe is very well packaged. The higher cutting at the ankle benefits the user while keeping the tab on being an obnoxious boot.It is an intelligent shoe that aims to please with function and aesthetics.I would take extra care of the mesh material. From my experience, mesh has a tendency to absorb un-removed stains.

Shoe shoppers with a social conscience often have difficulty finding a pair of shoes that are guaranteed to be environmentally safe. Every shopper should do what they can to help the environment even when shopping for a pair of sneakers. The Simple shoe line out of southern California has developed shoes that mix recycled parts and styles similar to Vans and Airwalks to fill this importance blind spot in the shoe industry.

Each shoe is created with environmental effects in mind and Simple has created the Green Toe line of shoes to help busy shoppers find their next pair of shoes. The Toemorrow is a casual sneaker in four colorways including natural/brown and green/blue to fit with any outfit. This eco-friendly make is constructed out of 100% post-consumer pulp, water-based glues and other natural ingredients that minimize environmental impact. Simple offers these shoes for about $90 and most Green Toe makes qualify for free shipping.

I have worn other pairs of Simple in the past and there is no sacrifice made in the comfort of the shoe with its green construction. Check these shoes out if you are in a sneaker funk and need a shoe to add to your collection.

New Balance A03 Limited Edition shoe 1

Japan has her own New Balance design team and they have prepared a new model. This is simply called the A03. This takes inspiration and base design from the old model of P991. A03 looks more daring in approach as it has a colored toe area. This A03 comes in two colors; bright purple and mild orange. These colors suit the black background very well. The purple A03 has a rough leather finish.I think it looks a bit homely, in its simplicity. To contrast, the orange-toed model has a smooth leather finish. It looks sleek but unpolished because it is not shiny leather. However, the texture suits the overall design of the shoe.

The A03 is currently sold by the Japanese online store, Mita Sneakers. One pair goes for around 10,200 Japanese Yen.This high cut sneaker edition looks minimal but has many special features. Its tongue has the picture of an ice mountain, presumably, Mt. Fuji. The A03 logo sits supremely atop the peak. The last three shoe rings are reinforced with extra rings. This facilitates the tightening of shoe laces. Consumers who need to lace up shoes for secure footage will like this feature. The shoe laces are straightforward, made of the old pattern of no frills design.I like the orange pair more then the purple pair because orange is a more earthy and neutral color. It will match my apparel in my wardrobe well.

The orange pair comes after the break.
