Air Jordan XX from the Countdown PackageBy SneakerFreak on July 30th, 2008 | No Commentsshoe is the colorway; it is jet black with no hint of other colors in it. They sort of remind me of the Black Cat colorway that we’ve seen with other Air Jordan models. For some reason, I’m not feeling the all black. The previous AJ 20 colorways are definitely better.

Hold on There! Air Force OnesBy SneakerFreak on July 30th, 2008 | No CommentsMy post yesterday explored the darker side of Alejandro Giraldo’s work at the Colombiamoda design fair. The
Air Force Ones posted above showcase Alejandro’s ability to blend lighter colors with stark images in the span of a singleshoe. These sneakers are dubbed Hold on There! due to the octopus that unifies the left and rightshoes.Alejandro broke down a major design barrier by creating an octopus that spans both
shoes. The leftshoe features the head of the octopus glaring at the viewer through beady yellow eyes. The wearer can touch the heels of bothshoes to find that the octopus reaches well into midsole of the rightshoe. Alejandro shows the cruel nature of the sea by adding some dripping blood to the Nike swoosh. This Colombian designer shows his love again for Nike by adding the words “Just Do It” in white across the blue front panel. New York shop
DQM has just received this new released from the Vans Vault campaign. The pack features three Half Cab LX models that use suede and leather, along with a 1966 Vans print on the midsole and panels. Choose from a grey, black or tan colorway. Personally, I think the grey version is the best with it’s colorful print and purple details. The black is the most reserved of the three choices. Via DQM.
