Nike Air Force 1 Supreme Canvas Tier 0 - Red #1

While most releases rely heavily on leather, these Nike Air Force 1 Supreme kicks use allover canvas. These unique shoes offer a subdued look that will look good with almost any getup. Above is the red version and there is also a Varsity Royal blue pair. According Sneaker News, a third and final grey pair will also be in the pack.

The Nike swoosh is incognito using the same material as the upper. Besides the red, you can also see a light cream color (Sail) used on the laces, inner lining, tongue tab and on the midsole. You can find these shoes at Premium Laces in New York.

Here is a detailed look at the Custom Air Jordan Fusion 3 (III) Rainbow Glass designed by Mateo. Mateo used the Air Jordan 3 (III) / Air Force One Fusion (GS) – White / Comet Red as his inspiration for the design. The shattered rainbow pattern and hand stitched Nike swoosh added to the shoe really make it stand out in a crowd. A brightly speckled midsole compliments the stitching on the toe box which pulls all of the bright colors together.

  • Custom Nike Dunk Low – Shmack
By on September 16th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

These Custom Nike Dunks were created for the owner of SHMACK clothing by Bespoke Sneaker Gallery. The owner of Shmack clothing loved them so much that he decided to feature them as part of a national ad campaign. These custom kicks however, are the one and only pair so don’t count on having a pair of these in your closet or collection.

These shoes are brightly colored with metallic gold paint on the front and a turquoise background with the signature SHMACK stars everywhere. The best part is of course the word “SHMACK” written in white cartoon-like letters and the magenta Nike swoosh.

  • Kaws x Nike Air Max 90
By on September 16th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    here.

Kaws has worked on the Nike Air Max 90. This design is done with the all white colorway. The shoe upper is made of suede and mesh materials. The accent is in fluorescent green. The lace-lock hasthe traditional cross eyes symbol of Kaws. These Kaws eyes are also used in stitching in another part of the sneaker. This is a sample pair made by Kaw. There is no information on whether this design would be made available for sale to the public.

The toe box is made of mesh. The mesh pattern is interesting as it looks to be thick woven fabric with white thread that is weaved on top of the fabric. The mud guard is suede and it is attached with cross stitches. The cross eye stitches are in white thread, except for a pair of cross eyes in fluorescent light green thread. The tongue is white mesh. The shoe lace is white with rims of light green. The tag at the tip of the broad tongue is white. The main shoe upper View More Photos/Info

  • Custom Air Force Ones in Red, Gold and Silver
By on September 16th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

A designer with the handle lakebay2 showcased a bunch of new custom sneakers in a Nike Talk post linked here. My favorites were the red/gold/silver Air Force Ones shown above because they caught my eye right away. You can check out additional photos of lakebay2’s work after this post.

While lakebay2’s work as a whole is fantastic, I think the gem of this collection is the red/gold/silver Air Force Ones. The tri-color look would be nice on its own but lakebay2 used interesting colors to fill in each section. I am not sure if these shoes were meant to symbolize the bronze, silver and gold of the Beijing Olympics (the red is a little to bright to be considered bronze) but they look great without this context.

Anyone who has read my posts throughout the past year knows that I love small touches that contribute to a great shoe. I love the the red and silver View More Photos/Info
