The Penny II (2) just released about two weeks ago and got all the love that was expected, and then some.Continuing with the retroing of Penny Hardaway’s signature line, is the Air Penny III (3) set to release sometime around Spring 2009. Vans Fixed Gear Era PackBy SneakerFreak on October 14th, 2008 | No Comments
This three-pack of sneakers from Vans dropped at NYC shops like DQM this past weekend. Taking the classic ERA, these shoes feature subtle tribute to the fixed gear bicycle with cogs and chains at the heels.
The navy and celery colorway is the most vibrant of the group. The other two versions are black/glass green and cypress/lime green. Suitable for both men and women, these shoes are available for $50 a pair at the

Air Jordan 3 and 5 HybridBy SneakerFreak on October 14th, 2008 | No Comments
Image source:here. This is a hybrid and mix with Air Jordan 3 and 5. The shoe upper supposedly used an Air Jordan 5. The sole used the Air Jordan 3 characteristics. The midsection has side panels that may be from Air Jordan 15.
This shoe is all white, except for its outsole, which is grey. The toe box is white leather, with a rough, grainy pattern. The toe box is a continuous segment that joins with the midsection. The mudguard at the toe box is a narrow strip that is almost non-existent. The midsection has a woven panel and the shape of this panel is streamlined to flow with the shoe. The shoe has a collar around its ankle. There are three extra pairs of shoe lace holes at the collar.
The midsole is white but is separated into two sections. The toe portion of the shoe has its own section of midsole. A narrow layer of the grey outsole can be seen coming up to meet the midsole. The other portion of the midsole is from the center of the shoe. Air Jordan fans who like View More Photos/Info
Air Jordan True Flight – White/Black/Laser BlueBy SneakerFreak on October 14th, 2008 | No CommentsWe have already told you a bit about the Air Jordan True Flight, including the black/red/white version that will
release in January. The True Flight resembles the Air Jordan 7 but has a flatter sole with herringbone traction for improved grip, plus Zoom Air for extra high performance cushioning. There will be several colorways of the Jordan True Flight released in 2009, including the white, black and laser blue colorway pictured here. This edition is scheduled to release on May 23, 2009 at $140. This mostly white version is complemented nicely with touches of laser blue and black. Personally I like it better than the previously mentioned black colorway, but it’s all a matter of personal preference. Look for more colorways of the True Flight in upcoming months. Via
Sneaker News. View More Photos/Info Southwestern Air Force OnesBy SneakerFreak on October 14th, 2008 | No CommentsThe entire catalog of customs from Sneakers by Sean can be characterized by words like clean, simple and succinct. Sneakers by Sean is living up to these terms with the Southwestern Air Force Ones. These sneakers were posted by the designer on his Customsnkr.com blog linked
here. Sneakers by Sean used the colors and themes of the American Southwest when customizing these Air Force Ones. The Southwestern AF1s are framed in a red/brown/white colorway that is subdued to allow silhouetted shapes to stand out. The designers added a wolf, moon and cactus shrouded in shadows to simulate a desert scene. While many people may recognize these features from the Phoenix Coyotes sweater, these themes have resonated among the Native Americans of the Southwest for centuries.
The white/black sun on the toe box completes the Southwestern theme. Sneakers by Sean was able to create a compelling shoe with basic colors, shadows and some View More Photos/Info
Nike FoamdomeBy SneakerFreak on October 14th, 2008 | 1 Comment
Since we first brought you what we thought was called the Foamposite Boot we have received a little more info. We now know the name of this Foamposite Goadome mash up is the Foamdome. Scheduled to release late November/ early December the Foamdome will retail for about $225. The catalog pics certainly did no justice to the shoe itself. I have a feeling these will be an instant hit. Some sources say these will be a limited release to urban accounts but no word conformation. Stay tuned for more info. Via: Dave Jeff
