    Nike Air Bakin' Cool Grey/Matte Silver-White - #1

If you were a fan of the Nike Air Bakin’ back in the day, you might light this Cool Grey retro colorway that was recently released.

The old school silhouette features a tonal upper of different shades of grey. Personally, I’m not a fan of the model, but if they are a favorite of yours, the Cool Grey/Matte Silver-White color scheme is definitely cool. Look for them at select Nike accounts and at NikeStore for $125. They are also available in a Black/Varsity Royal-Metallic Silver colorway. Via KATC.

With a dotted pattern on a black backdrop that’s somewhat of a familiar sight, these Air Jordans are pretty striking, and certainly draw the eye to their ridiculously loud colorway. Maybe these won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, especially for those out there who prefer quiet kicks, but for anyone looking to make a visual statement with their sneakers, you really can’t go wrong with these Jordan 1’s.  If you want a pair of low tops that has classic styling coupled with a strikingly modern colorway, these will do perfectly.

This new version of the Nike Air Force 1 Low may have taken inspiration from an earlier model, the SB Dunk Mahogany. This shoe is sold at Atmos-Tokyo.

The shoe upper is in smooth, white leather. The toe box has holes in it. The mudguard is high and surrounds the toe box. The seams are done with double lines of stitching. The shoe lace is dark brown and coordinates with the Nike swoosh. The back tab at the heel is also in the same rich, dark brown color. The midsole is thick and made of gum. The outsole uses the rich chocolate brown color again. The gum sole’s color becomes an accent for this white shoe.

Some fans love gum soles on Air Force Ones. This shoe will be a favorite with this group. The clean, white upper gives the sneaker a very classy look. The shoe has a midsection, which is marked by the seams. The View More Photos/Info

  • Viperstrike Air Force Ones

I spoke glowingly of Hypethetic’s woven canvas Dunks in yesterday’s posts. The Viperstrike Air Force Ones featured today blow the canvas Dunks out of the water. Aside from a cooler name, the Viperstrikes are more interesting visually with the same quality work from Hypethetic. I found these photos at the Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

Hypethetic started out with a typical pair of Nike Air Force Ones. He wove silver and white strands into a violet backdrop to add a touch of color to this pair of futuristic sneakers. Hypethetic also used a red Nike swoosh to break through the flash of the silver strips.

I imagine that the Viperstrike Air Force Ones were popular at the Adiartist event Hypethetic attended this month. The Viperstrikes required a pair of deft hands, a sharp eye and a hefty supply of patience. Hypethetic is showing other designers that it is possible to get away from View More Photos/Info
