KickerBockerGlory went back to the drawing board with a new pair of custom Nike Blazers featured at the Customsnkr.com blog linked here. These Blazers are based on the nebulae, stars and other sights seen in the night sky. His efforts weren’t in vain as the Space Jam Nike Blazers create a realistic depiction of space.

The designer used a mixture of magenta, blue and black to create the stellar backdrop on the Space Jam Blazers. This mixture is blurred a bit with a layer of pewter, creating an out-of-focus look that obscures the mysteries of space. KickerBockerGlory’s blurring technique does not overshadow the finely drawn stars spread throughout these customs.

Today we have some special info on what Jordan Brand has planned for 2009. It’s not as visual as the catalog shots we posted but it might be a little more interesting. SC member princejordan has provided us with a “little” something to look forward to next year from JB. We’ve been hearing and seeing the news that there will be no retros in 2009 but that is false. There will be retros and retros of more models besides the I (tech info of a V retro after the jump). They will release another Spiz’ike/6Ring type shoe but this will be a collaboration of all the shoes Michael Scored 60+ points in. Also next Summer they will release a “Hall of Fame” pack that will include the famous “Nike Air” on the shoes, maybe not in their original location but they will be there. First, the info leaks then the pictures so sit tight and stay tuned.

Last month we reported on the Air Jordan 1 “Quai 54” and as promised we are back to update you. They will infact release and release in the U.S but as a limited release to select Jordan Brand accounts.The shoe is inspired by an annual Streetball Tournament sponsored by Jordan Brand held in France. But look more like a combination of the color way from the I/XXII CDP and the “Dream Team” logo of the Olympic I’s. These are excepted in April 2009.

This is the newest shoe in the Nike Air Force 1 Premium 2009. This shoe is expected to be dropped off in early 2009. It has a navy blue/ orange colorway. Look out for it at the Nike website and retailers.

The shoe upper has a good mix of leathers and has 4 different textures. The toe box has premium leather. The side panels have pebbled leather. The Nike swoosh has suede. The heel has a panel in patent leather made of crocodile like texture. The toe box has perforations. The surrounding mudguard frames the toe box and emphasizes its look. The orange colored shoe lace is a striking contrast to the dark, navy blue colorway.
