    Ubiq Fatima x Snoopy Pack - #1

If you love Snoopy, you’ll really enjoy this latest release by Ubiq. The Japanese shoe maker now has two different versions of this Snoopy shoe available – one in color and one in black and white.

Using the Fatima model, the uppers of these kicks are broken into cartoon frames and each square features Snoopy in action. You can also see a few other Peanuts characters within the squares such as Charlie Brown. Overall, the detail on these sneakers is impressive and the artwork is clear. One colorway is a subtle grey scale design, while the other is more colorful.

You can find this Ubiq Fatima x Snoopy Pack at Samurai Online Store. Via High Snobiety.

  • Nike Air Force 1 White/White-Red Cement
By on January 7th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

The Nike Air Force One has a new collection for 2009. One of the new colorways is shown here. The website, Nike, will reveal more details at a later date.

This shoe has a toe box with cement print. The cement print shows the fine “cement” lines. This effect makes the print look interesting. Texture is present in the cement pattern.

The midsole is in red. The white outsole brings out the red color well. The red accent is applied at the Nike tag at the tongue. The white shoe strap emphasizes the tip of the tongue as it draws attention to the Nike tag. The back tab at the heel is white but has accents of red.

The toe box is the most striking part of the shoe because of the red cement accent. The rest of the shoe is white to keep a clean look. The toe box may be colored to protect the front of the shoe and also to usher in the new year with the color red. The Nike swoosh is repeated as an embroidered symbol on the shoe strap. • “Carbonator” Terminator Hi
By on January 7th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Chris Hui from C2 Customs has been away from the workshop for the past few months traveling and going to school. C2 has shown that his brief time away from sneaker art was spent thinking about new techniques and designs. C2’s custom Terminator Hi, called the Carbonators, are available for $225 in a men’s size 10 at the website linked here.

Instead of resorting to his usual paints and brushes, C2 decided to use red carbon fiber on the upper. He switched to black leather on the toe box and nylon for the tongue, blending new and old techniques seamlessly. C2’s first pair of custom sneakers in four months broke new ground while maintaining his high quality standards.

While the use of carbon fiber instead of paint is innovative, I am struck by the beautiful simplicity of these shoes. In the hands of a designer without C2’s restraint, the View More Photos/Info

The first thing you’ll notice about the ½ Cent is the mostly foamposite upper from the Foamposite I in the original royal blue. The transparent outsole also takes after the Foamposite I. The shoe itself is mainly molded after the Air Penny III but also uses parts of the Air Penny I, II and IV.There is also a black color way in the making. • Nike Zoom LeBron VI (GS) – “Christmas Day”
By on January 7th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

This is not what you expect for a Christmas themed shoe but a closer look at the insole may help better explain this color way. Instead of traditional Christmas colors of red, white and green the colors of this Christmas Edition LeBron shoe was inspired by one of childhood Christmas’.The GS exclusive features a black, white, orange and blue color scheme, a patent black quilted looking textured side panels to go along with a black patent toe box. The rest of the shoe is practically white with some blue and orange accenting, like the white toecap and white swoosh outlined with orange. The only indications that these are a Christmas shoe are the tree logo on the tongue, and of course the insole, which is covered with a picture of “Prince James” ball in hand next to a small basketball hoop. These will release sometime this month (relatively soon) at select Nike retailers in limited numbers.
