Nike Air Force 1 Supreme - Dark Obsidian/White

Here comes another breakthrough on sneakers with printed uppers. The Nike Air Force 1 Supreme brings you a simple yet rocking colorway of Dark Obsidian/White. The leather upper with splattered elephant print design is seen throughout the sneaker with a Dark Obsidian sidewall, a White Swoosh and out-sole. This is more likely the same with the Air Force 1 High Supreme previously released. You can find this printed AF1 at Nike accounts.

Nike Air Presto 2009 - Red

One saying goes, “There is nothing new in fashion.” True, even Nike decided to bring back its classic Air Presto but in bountiful colorways. This time you will only be able to see the Red colorway which is a 100% Red upper, laces, side panels, and toe caps complimented by a White sole. A round White Nike logo contrasts the so Red tongue. This will be a part of the Spring/Summer release to be out in April.

  • Nike Womens Air Max 90 Black/Pink-White
By on February 27th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

This Nike Women’s Air Max 90 is the latest release. Nike has used black, a staple color, and included pink, which is the all time favourite. Please look for this shoe in the Nike website.

The shoe upper is black and has grey, white and pink accents. There is no separate mudguard as the leather forms the main body of the shoe. The front portion of the shoe is in dense mesh. The shoe lace region is in grey leather with pin strips. The grey shoe lace looks well blended into the color scheme of the shoe.

The ankle and heel use a nice pattern of geometric shapes which have a sprinkle of pink snow flakes. There are extra black colored panels running along the longitudinal side of the shoe. The pink Nike swoosh is coupled by the pink “Air Max” to create a symmetry. The midsole has a transparent window and we can see pink colored studs inside. The thick air cushion of the Air Max will provide good support for the user.

The outsole has a few patterns of treads and studs. These have a good balance of functional use and aesthetics. I like this design for all View More Photos/Info

NuBux was given complete creative freedom when asked by his client to customize some Air Maxes. The designer decided to let the colors talk instead of plastering excessive design elements on a nice pair of sneakers. The result is the BluStream Nike Air Max, which was unveiled to the public at the NuBux Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

NuBux mixed the colors well when customizing these sneakers, opting for an unusual combination of hues rather than an old standby. The light blue of the Nike swoosh and the first eyelet pops off the shoe. While the brief flash of yellow at the top eyelet may seem out of place, it is yet another accent in a custom that thrives on small touches.

The underlying color throughout the BluStream Nike Air Max is gray though NuBux got creative with his base color. We see a progression from blue to dark gray and finally light gray as the eye moves up from the midsole. NuBux did a great job with the BluStream Air Maxes by keeping them simple and focusing on his craft rather than going nuts with an open mandate from his View More Photos/Info
