    Nike Sky Force Mid LE
The Nike Sky Force Mid LE is similar to the previously-released Nike Air Force 1 “White On Ice” because of its all White upper and icy sole. • Nike SB Tokyo Mids x Tokidoki Concept
By on March 21st, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Sneaker designer Villain Customs created a Nike SB concept recently for fashion boutique Tokidoki. The result was a hot design called the Nike SB Tokyo Mids x Tokidoki Concept, which reflects Villain’s unique vision through cartoons and Eastern imagery. I found these photos at the Villain Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

The background pattern for the Nike SB Tokyo Mids is black with an assortment of clouds and shapes painted in gold. The left shoe features a funny little character dressed in a cactus suit and the right shoe presents a beautiful Japanese woman surrounded by a golden aura. Villain continued the black/gold backdrop on the toe boxes surrounded by a gray toe.

Villain uses a bright pink Nike swoosh and SB logo to cut through the simple colors used elsewhere on these customs. After looking at the Tokidoki website linked here, Villain Customs seems to have fit his Nike SB Tokyo Mids into the boutique’s aesthetic. • Nike Skyposite – Varsity Royal – Black + Black – Anthracite
By on March 21st, 2009 | No Comments Comments

This one looks and feels like the shoes of a shadow, or the footwear of choice for a ninja. Its lines are extremely liquid and smooth, and we almost feel like we can float on water with such a superb aerodynamic design.

The pair comes in varsity royal/black and black/anthracite colorways. The design is reminiscent of Air Jordan 2009, but the LunarLite cushioning adds a distinguishing touch that at once gives it a much lighter feel and look.

Overall, we feel that the Nike Skyposite is well worthy of being posited at the top of the sky with such a smooth and fluent design. We really love this item, and strongly recommend it to anyone who seeks a decently priced piece of excellence for his footwear. It’ll be available sometime later this year. View More Photos/Info

Nike Big Nike Hi LE - Phi Slamma Jamma
The great Phi Slamma Jamma 1982-84 basketball team from the University of Houston inspired the next Big Nike Hi LE. The plaid detail on the sneaker’s side panel and heel area is a tribute to the team coach’s favorite plaid-designed coats. The upper which is mostly of Red and White represents the school’s colors with the Phi Slamma Jamma fraternity sign and silhouette of a player are seen around the ankle area.
