  • Phineas and Ferb Baby Air Force Ones
By on April 2nd, 2009 | No Comments Comments

In the first of a flurry of new customs from D@ Prince, we will look at the Phineas and Ferb Baby Air Force Ones. These customs are based on the Disney channel cartoon Phineas and Ferb, the story of two stepbrothers and their overactive imaginations. I found these photos at D@ Prince’s latest Nike Talk post linked here and you can learn more about D@ Prince at his MySpace page linked here.

The backdrop for the Phineas and Ferb AF1s is a light blue sky that acts as the stage for the duo’s crazy adventures. D@ Prince replicated the orange/red logo for Phineas and Ferb on the right shoe. The left shoe shows Phineas and Ferb on a surfboard catching imaginary waves along with their pet Perry the Platypus.

I haven’t seen Phineas and Ferb before but judging by photos elsewhere, D@ Prince nailed these custom AF1s. He added the client’s name to the back heel set against white so that it would stand out. If the Phineas and Ferb Baby AF1s are indicative of the next salvo by D@ Prince, we can look forward to View More Photos/Info

  • Nike Air Footscape Woven – Microstriped
By on April 2nd, 2009 | No Comments Comments

The Air Footscape Woven is one of the most popular shoes in Asia, and it’s getting ever more popular in the US too these days. This beautiful design alone is enough to justify that attention with one million reasons. but we have only the space of a few words, sadly, to describe them.

The clean white and black colorway is audacious in its tranquility, and bold in its simplicity. The upper with the striking microstripe pattern is uniquely exciting, although it may not be unique after Air Max1, and Air Footscape were released by Nike.

There is big change in the air as this pair sets out to conquer the hearts of American sneakerheads, and you can be one of the first in the army of change too. If you’re up to the challenge, take up these shoes. Years later, you could tell your kids about how you helped popularize this amazing model in the Wild West of US sneakerland.
