  • Converse Chuck Taylor All Star – Metallic Croc – France-Exclusive

It seems like there’s a whole new wave of innovation overtaking the designers of Converse, as this crocodile skin pair has the sneaker market tight in the grip of its elegant jaws. Crocodile skin degins are popular this year, but the distinction that we have here is creativity, and creativity is what sets this pair apart from its competitors.

This rich pair is rich of texture, rich in colors, and rich in dazzle and shine. We suspect that the crocodile whose skin has gone create this item would be a willing victim if he had known what would become of him, but alas, such are the ways of life.

This is a France-exclusive, and it will released next month. Catch it, but beware of the jaws. Via Hypequest. View More Photos/Info

A picture is better than a thousand words. This ancient saying has been proven right in our daily lives countless times already, but the case provided by the picture above is more convincing than a million similar experiences.

The gold of this pair is more shiny than a treasure chest full of the precious metal. The white of these Nikes is purer than the snow of Siberia. A concept that is pure yet beautifully complex, a design that is at the apex of craftsmanship and creativity, this is a pair that will outlast the destructive forces of time.

Not so fast, if you’re thinking another re retro of the Infrared Air Max 90s think again. This color way is very similar to the Infrared Air Max 90 actually. Besides the Infrared being replaced by Max Orange, which isn’t to far down the color road from Infrared, the other differences are somewhat minor. The top eyelets and the area around the air bubble have also been changed to Max Orange while the Mudguard remains black. No other info is available now but you’ll be the first to know when an update is available. Via: Jordan8420

  • Nike Air Max Light – May 2009

The Air Max was released 1989, long before many of us were even born. But over all these years, this lovely model has stood the test of time, and has been reborn in many forms and colors to the continued delight of sneaker lovers.

This May 2009 pack comes in many colors, but the basic is design is almost the same as that from the earliest days of this pair. The Air Max is of course a venerable legend, and this doesn’t require any kind of confirmation from any source.

One new colorway features a black upper with orange accents, sections of white mesh and a clean white midsole. The others feature similar combinations with dark and light variations.

We of course love these pairs, and who wouldn’t, with such power packed in such a modest design. Available at Sneakerology, via EUKicks.

  • Zebra Print Filas
By on April 21st, 2009 | No Comments Comments

    zebrafila

Sneakers by Sean was asked by a friend to customize a pair of Filas with a zebra print. As an expert in this familiar design, the designer had no problem in turning these plain white Filas into a sneaker masterpiece. I found photos of the Zebra Print Filas at the Sneakers by Sean Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

Sneakers by Sean has done multiple customs with zebra prints so he went in a different direction with these Filas. Instead of cutting black lines across the white leather surface, the designer used a lighter gray color to frame the middle panels and heels. The pattern is repeated from outside to inside on both shoes with remarkable uniformity.

For all those sneaker fans who are tired of traditional animal prints, I would recommend a peek at the pictures below. The Zebra Print Filas do not simply duplicate the black/white skin of the zebra. Sneakers by Sean brings his own flavor and perspective to these custom Filas, making them stand apart from the designer’s past work.
