I posted the Food Chain Air Force Ones yesterday after looking through the works of young sneaker artist Brahm Wachter. The designer’s sneaker studio took a more serious tone with the Hoops 4 Hope Air Force Ones, focusing on the importance of community involvement rather than the circle of life. Wachter used a red/green/yellow colorway as the backdrop for his message of hope. The toe boxes and middle panels are painted red while the eyelets and toes are green. The designer wrote “Hoops 4 Hope” in block letters on the top of the toe box before creating a picture of Earth. Wachter reinforced this message by writing “Help Out” in black on the green heel wrap. Since the Hoops 4 Hope Air Force Ones were designed for an event called Hoops 4 Hope, images like the silhouetted figure running across the middle panel make perfect sense.
