You read the title correctly, these sneakers that you are looking at are partially made with used plastic bags. The creater of this new sneaker brand “Fan”, Lusea Warner, had this to say in a recent interview:
“It’s a Brand that reuses plastic bags and majestically turns them into sneakers, bags and lights.FAN is an umbrella of eco design,that brings green to the fore-front of urban culture.”

Sure I personally play a part of the voice of Myairshoes.com, but that does not mean I have the best taste when it comes to shoes….. but c’mon….. Nike can’t be serious in releasing these TERRIBLE looking Nike Long Ball shoes.
I COULD give Nike a break because these sneakers do belong to the Nike Considered line that only makes shoes that are “environmentally friendly”, using biodegradable materials; but I just can’t do that.
These kicks make me feel like Nike is releasing whatever they want just because they are the #1 sneaker company. Is it just me or are these kicks just horrifying? I could be wrong, since I’ve been many times before. As hard as it might be for me to say this, as always I encourage you to……. Enjoy!

All you ladies out there will be happy to know that Nike is going to be releasing a shoe just for you; the Nike Air Max 95 Zen Venti sneakers. I am not sure why they have taken on the name Zen Venti, but these kicks put typical hi-tops to shame. The rumor is that they are supposed to be released sometime in January 2008.
