The debate between Puma and Adidas fans over the superiority of their favored shoe brand has been left unresolved for one simple reason. Neither shoe company wants to break the mold on their classic designs, which would alienate their customers and ruin their reputation. Each shoe company is engaged in a cold war where they continue to improve their product’s comfort level and interior design without messing around with colorways, soles and flashy tongues. The Puma Clyde offered for autumn and winter of 2007 demonstrates this effort to continually remake an old classic.
The upcoming Clydes will come in five colorways including the white and red colors presented here and a subtle chestnut color. These shoes won’t sway an Adidas, Vans or other sneaker fan to switch to Pumas if they aren’t already inclined to do so. The Puma Clyde seems ideal for Puma fans who want to reignite their love for this brand.
