The use of camouflage and other military designs on sneakers usually annoys me. I haven’t been able to define why I am bothered when I see green camouflage on a perfectly good sneaker but I cringe when I see shoes like the Vans Half Cab Camo Series. The matching camouflage design on the upper is meant as homage to the urban warrior in all of us.

I would get into these shoes if they didn’t have the upper design especially on the olive green colorway.
