The Air Jordan 21 has produced a new edition to the Jordan series, actual player customized shoes. They share the same colors that Jordan brand team members wore. Each player has their own PE of the city that they represented/played for. In addition, there were 6 pairs of PEs released this weekend, (5 city versions and 1 black pair). There is currently no release info, check back later for further updates.

Air Jordan custom design – Dub Zero.By SneakerFreak on October 9th, 2007 | No Comments
I borrowed this Dub Zero template from here.
I like this template. The design is delicately intricate and a good coffee table topic for conversation. Just from this side view, I can enjoy the dense concentration of drawings of shoes and some soles that resemble fauna and flora.
From this side view, I can count 4 sneakers with laces. If I were to add the partial views of shoes, there are more than 4. This black and white custom design can be further made unique when the colors are painted on.There are almost an infinite number of possibilities to use to customize this template.
One possible customization would be to choose a favorite color for the background or entire shoe upper. Another choice might be to choose colors for the shoes and soles. Using this basic premise, a multitude of colors can be permutated to create a psychedelic assortment of shoes that will be the talk of your close circle of Air Jordan custom sneaker friends.
The heel has a pattern of regular geometrics in brickwork. This rounds up the avalanche of shoes nicely and puts a wall to keep them in place inside the artwork. (Metaphorically speaking).
When the design is ready, the last finishing touch would be lacing the shoe laces. We can have a choice of colors, either to complement the colored design or to contrast against it.

Nike AF1 “Kool Bob Love” Winter Styles Show Love for NYCBy SneakerFreak on October 9th, 2007 | No Comments
The “Kool Bob Love” pack is collaboration between artist Bobbito Garcia and Nike to recognize his roots in Puerto Rico and New York. These custom designs for the Nike AF1 Hi demonstrate the ability to use shoes as a canvas for artistic endeavors. All four shoes in the pack feature the same shapes and symbols around the shoe as well as premium leather uppers to withstand the harsh New York winters.
The shoe pictured above is my favorite of the pack because it is truly unique from other parts of the pack as well as other offerings by Nike. The purple/green colorway is subtle enough that these shoes won’t make you stand out for the wrong reasons. My only problem with the “Kool Bob Love” designs on the Nike AF1 Hi is the tan/brown colorway pictured below. The inspiration is clearly the standard Timberland boot that was so popular a few years ago. I was never a fan of Timberland boots and I think that the fourth design in this pack could have pushed the boundaries further for shoe design.

Air Jordan XX2 PE – City EditionsBy SneakerFreak on October 9th, 2007 | No Comments
This past Saturday, several versions of the Air Jordan XX2 PE were released in limited areas. These city editions include Denver (pictured above), Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit and Seattle.
I’m not a big fan of these shoes, though I think the Denver Edition looks the best. You make them if you are looking for a classic colorway to support your home team.
The list price is $150, but I already see many online sites selling them for under $120.
These leather shoes feature extended heel counter construction for extra ankle support and a removable ankle strap for more stability.
Check out the rest of the photos for a look at the other city editions.
Bape Road Stas – Solid LeatherBy SneakerFreak on October 9th, 2007 | No CommentsInstead of bright colors in patent and prints, this time A Bathing Ape (Bape) has decided to release some straight up leather shoes in solid muted colors.
These kicks would make a great option for a casual shoe, that can also be worn for a little more dressy occasion. The three colors are fairly neutral and should work with most any wardrobe.
I personally like these much better than the wild patent leather colorways of most Bape shoes, but I don’t know if these will be big sellers. Look for them to be released within the next month or so.
