Nexus VII and Porter have collaborated to release a messenger bag that looks simple. Sadly, the bag’s price tag is still unknown.

Custom Nikes Celebrate Guitar HeroBy SneakerFreak on November 30th, 2007 | No Comments
The popularity of Guitar Hero has bled into every aspect of entertainment and culture. TV shows and movies are beginning to feature Guitar Hero as a fun aside for characters while millions enjoy thrashing as they live out their rock’n’roll dreams. The custom Nikes pictured above are based on the graphics that emblazon the cover of the Guitar Hero video game.
A replica Guitar Hero logo sits atop the shoe box in a conspicuous way. White-hot flames begin to fade from the tip of the shoe to mid-sole to cut through the black background of the rest of these custom shoes. I am not a huge Guitar Hero fan but I do enjoy the design of these shoes based on the artist’s skills. The flames work perfectly with the negative space on the back of the shoe and the colored keys above the heel add a nice touch of color. The gold skull on the laces is a bit much for my tastes but it is easy enough to remove.

Nike Reflective PackBy SneakerFreak on November 30th, 2007 | No Comments
The Nike Reflective Pack has recently released at the
Nike Members Only Store. This pack consists of three shoes, all of which feature some reflective materials. The pack includes the Air Foamposite One (pictured above), Air Max 95 Premium and leather Vandal High.
The Air Foamposite One is a Black/Black-Bright Cactus colorway that is very interesting. If you are a fan of the Foamposite style, this shoe is very slick. The mostly black shoe is highlight be a bright cactus reflective colored sole and other touches.
The Air Max 95 Premium is my favorite sneaker in the pack. This shoe combines several neutral colors with small accents of flamingo pink. The small pink Swoosh near the heel and pink touches on the tongue and laces are really sweet.
The final shoe in the pack is the Vandal High, which features a Dark Army/Flamingo-Pilgrim leather colorway that is a little too bright for my taste. Green dominates this shoe in a couple shades. The front of the shoe is a brighter green, while the rear is the dark army green. The strap features a reflective yellow with a big flamingo stripe. I am actually a fan of the Vandals, but this shoe is too much for me. Though, I’m sure a lot of people will like it.

Nike and Ryo The Skywalker Court Force PackBy SneakerFreak on November 30th, 2007 | No Comments
Nike has collaborated with a Japanese music band called Ryo The Skywalker. They have jointly designed the special pack that contains two types of shoes; the Nike Court Force Hi and Court Force Lo. This pack is sold at
Atmos, exclusively for the Japanese market. This pack of shoes contains an exciting mixture of materials. I prefer the Court Force Hi over the Lo. The Hi has a colorful bottom sole that has orange and two shades of green. The tread pattern also has tiny leaves. The tongue of the sneaker has a cool, brown hooded guardsman, standing on green background. This green theme is repeated for the inner lining of the shoe. Some of the frills included for this shoe are the shoe lace lock and a keychain hanger.I like both of these features.
The Court Force Hi is composed of smooth leather and leather with a designed pattern. The differences in the leather composites spell intricate details for the shoe.
The Court Force Lo special edition design resembles the Court Force Hi; except for the colors and minor details. The color is an eye striking sky blue. The tongue has a different graphic embroidered on it. The tread pattern on the bottom sole is also different.
These are great shoes.

Victim x Mita Sneakers x New Balance M574JBy SneakerFreak on November 30th, 2007 | No Comments
Once again Japanese brand Victim,
Mita Sneakers and New Balance have collaborated. This time, they have just released in two colorways of the M574. I like these shoes a lot because they are very simple, yet look very luxe. These sneakers are covered entirely in premium suede, except for some very sparse leather trim. They come in a beige colorway and a black colorway, which are both very solid and chic. The inner lining is also in premium leather as well as the trim around the “N” logo.
You can get these shoes right now at
Mita Sneakers. They are priced at 15,540 Yen, which is about $140 USD.
