    Nike LD1000 Vintage black

Nike Vintage Running series has created the Nike LD1000 Vintage. Nort Berlin will be selling these shoes exclusively from Dec. 22.

This is a specially designed shoe that is made for running.  The shoe upper is made from extremely lightweight, stretchable material. The Nike swoosh is made from roughly cut denim and the edges are frayed to give the design a used or vintage look. This is one way of setting the swoosh apart from the rest of the background.

This pack comes with 3 LD 1000s. Each has the basic black colored shoe upper, but different colored swoosh and shoe laces. The sole is thick and has the special technology to aid runners. The bottom sole has thick, rough spiky treads for good running gripe.

The most subtle of these 3 pairs is the all-black pair. Even the shoe laces are black. I prefer this pair.

The second pair has a white colored Nike swoosh and white colored shoe laces. The white and black color combination is very striking. The backstab is also white in color.

The third pair has the same identical design, except that the swoosh is in blue denim.  The backstab is in a matching blue color.

    Nike Blazer Premium Mid Woven

This unique Blazer Mid is available right now in Japan and should eventually be released in the U.S. The upper of these sneakers is made up of nearly entirely black woven material, outside of its black toebox and perforated leather Swoosh. These shoes also have a red and gold embroidered star emblem on the heel.

I like the contrast of the light midsole and splash of red/gold on the heel and tongue label. This Nike Blazer Premium Mid is a very good looking shoe. Currently, these sneakers are available in Japan at LTD online for 12,800 yen (about $115 USD). Hopefully they come stateside soon because I really like the use of woven material in these kicks.

Nike Womens Premium Edition Stiletto Pack

The Nike Stiletto Pack is a new premium package for women containing a Vandal High, Dunk High and an Air Max 95 Zen. The Vandal High features an exotic leopard print, while the other two styles offer a black shoe with some red detailing.

My favorite shoe of the pack is the Vandal High, pictured above, because animal print is very popular in women’s fashion right now. The other two shoes are fairly basic though they do have use various textures, such as patent leather. One nice detail on the Dunk High is that it has a little black and red stiletto high heel imprinted on it’s own heel.

According to Hangtime, the Japanese release is expected soon. However, there are no details on a U.S. release as of yet.

The Puma brand name is best known for shoes like the Clyde, the Roma and the GV Special which look better than they perform. Puma’s popularity among sneaker fans rests on its development of stylish classics that fare poorly when it comes to basketball, running and other sporting events. Sneaker artist Rob L and shoe company Crooked Tongues are trying to meld style and function in this pair of special edition Puma XR Runners.

Rob L has applied a green/yellow colorway on these XR Runners to make it look like a bright lizard’s skin. The comforts of the Puma XR Runners are paired perfectly with the bright colors found in the classic shoes section of the Puma website. The interplay of the white and black parts of the shoe with the green/yellow colorway create a dazzling visual display. You can head to the Crooked Tongues website to see if there are any of these Puma XR Runners available. You may be better off looking on eBay since this run of exquisite shoes was limited to 10 pairs.
