  • Reebok Pump Running Dual “White/Purple” @ Purchaze

Reebok Pump Running Dual White/Purple at Purchaze

    Purchaze received the

Reebok Pump Running Dual in the “White/Bright Purple/Laser Pink/Grey” Colorway.

Reebok introduced the “Pump” technology in 1989. It provides the ultimate in a custom fit and support system. The honeycomb is one of the strongest yet lightest shapes found in nature. With modification, it was the theory behind the development of Reebok´s Hexalite technology. The Hexalite honeycomb design spreads shock over a larger area then EVA or polyurethane. As a result it combines cushioning and light weight for superb performance!

    Check that out.

  • Customs Nike Dunks for the Children

    kitty.jpg

The rising importance of Hello Kitty in the United States in the last decade reflects the craze over the children’s brand in Asia since the 1970s. Hello Kitty fits into the 21st century American love affair with anime and simple art. One lucky sneaker fan commissioned a Hello Kitty-inspired pair of Dunks through Stizo Custom Kicks.

I am not a fan of Hello Kitty and the colorways may not appeal to a 27-year old male but the craft involved in creating these customs is impeccable. The cartoon cat that has become ubiquitous throughout the world pops out of the heels of these Nike Dunks. The blending of purple and pink hues from toe to heel is the most impressive aspect of these shoes. It is difficult to move without an interruption from a deep purple to a bright pink.

Having researched the Hello Kitty craze a bit, the recipient of this Christmas gift may think about selling these on eBay. The high price for custom sneakers and the demand for flawless work equals a big payday off of eBay. After all, how many places can you go where a pair of purple Hello Kitty Dunks will fit in well?

    Vans Sk8-Hi "Flauge"

Vans has collaborated with Japanese boutique shop Flauge to bring back one of their classics – the Sk8-Hi Check.

This pack features several Sk8-Hi’s in a variety of colors. The toe and front of each shoe is black. However each features a different color checked pattern on the sides of the uppers. They also have a black and white checked pattern on the outer sole.I really love the use of white contrast stitching against the black.

These shoes are only 8,925 yen (around $79 USD) and are available exclusive at Flauge.
