Check out some Air Max 90’s that have just released in Europe for the ladies. They feature a white base, blue mudguard and orange accents. The mudguard has a design similar to a flying venus trap. It’s still unknown whether or not these will release in the US. Via theshoegame.

The original gray/pink colorway of the Air Jordan Vs shown above left much to be desired. How could arguably the greatest player in NBA history lend his name to a gray and pink monstrosity of this sort? One of these shoes has been spared the long fate of looking like a failed experiment by a generous customs designer.

The Air Jordan V is shown below entering a bath of blue dye. The final product is shown above with most of the gray covered in a royal blue color. You can see the pink interior remaining from the original shoes which looks far more natural with the blue than the gray. The dye is no substitute for a combination of spray and touch paint but the designer got the Air Jordan Vs for dirt cheap and a dyed blue is better than a natural gray any day.

    Saucony x Double Hard

Saucony has collaborated with the Japanese fashion brand called Double Hard. Double Hard was first started by the Japanese named DJ Hazime. This collaborationis on the Corageous model originally designed by Saucony in 1981. This sneaker is available in LTD.

This shoe is very colorful. The toe box is yellow with a border of pink. Then again, the pink has a border of white. At the side panel, there is a panel of silver with 3 holes to show the underlying blue colored leather. The silver colored leather has its perimeters surrounded by outlines of pink leather.

The Double Hard logo of a crown and the letters D and H is embossed on the heel of the shoe. The purple embossing matches the color of the Saucony brand name embossed on the backstab of the shoe. I think the same color purple is used to show equal respect and emphasis to both fashion houses for the design of this shoe.

The tongue is in the same light blue as the shoe upper and it is lined in yellow.Shoe laces are yellow to match with the color coordination for the shoe.

I like the most fanciful portion of the shoe – the silver panel. Saucony has the last word as it includes a big letter S around two of these three holes in the pattern.

    Nike Air Structure Triax

The retro version of the Nike Air Structure Triax is now available at the Overkill Shop. These shoes were first released in 1990 and now they have been launched in two classic colorways – White/Blue/Black and White/Grey/Turquoise/Black.

Back in the day, these shoes provided revolutionary comfort, cushioning and support. Nearly everyone had a pair of Triax in their closet. Both colorways are very simple – yet nice. I personally prefer the grey/turquoise version pictured above, but they are so similar it’s difficult to chose.

You can get these for 119.90 euros a pair, which is about $177 USD.
