Many new adidas releases are hitting shelves today in China. ACU in Shanghai has four new colorways of the Superstar. This version pictured above features shiny gold metallic leather accented with a white toe, sole and laces. Another colorway is very similar, except silver metallic.

The other two versions offer a hologram allover print of stars and clouds. These sneakers come in both a black and white edition. The nice touch on these shoes is the rainbow laces. These shoes are prices at around $120 USD.

If I were going to choose any of these new Superstars, I’d stick with the silver metallic. It’s a glitzy shoe that’s not overpowering as it’s offset by the white accents.

According to Hypebeast, they are also releasing the BBall Vulc, which is a white, sleek updated version of the Concord.

My addiction to Vitamin Water makes the pair of custom Air Force Ones pictured above a personal favorite. The designer tried a different design based on the Formula 50 of Vitamin Water but the results were less than thrilling. The results of his second experiment were a pair of custom AF1s that would look good at a promotional event.

This statement may not be an endorsement for sneaker fans who want something that stands out without seeming like a sell-out move. The repeated used of the brand name at random spots on the shoes may offend purists who want the Nike name to shine through. I am impressed by the use of every color in the Vitamin Water rainbow as well as the ordered chaos the designer manages on these shoes. The colored stripes down the side as well as the use of the product’s label on the Nike swoosh should be lauded for creativity instead of crass consumerism.

While not everyone is a fan of these kicks, there’s no denying the uniqueness of these Nike Air Flightposite retros. These futuristic looking shoes were first released with mixed reviews but now that Nike is bringing them back in retro fashion, consumers will get a second look.

Built with foamposite technology, these are shoes you should at least try on. Even if you aren’t feeling the style, the comfort alone may sway you. Whether you are balling on the court or hanging out in your crib, these shoes offer you unparalleled comfort.

What is especially appealing about these shoes is the black on black look, which is especially hot right now. While there is a sprinkle of white, the sleek black look and adventurous lines make this shoe unlike any other on the market. Keep an eye out for these Nike Air Flightposite Retro shoes as they are set to be released later in 2008.

The C.I. Boys phenomenon is moving slowly from Asia to North America based on our interest in all things anime. C.I. Boys embrace the ridiculous moves and attacks of games like Street Fighter using miniature characters. A serious C.I. Boys fan would faint if they had an opportunity to try on these custom Nike skateboarding shoes from Stizo Custom Kicks.

Stizo’s client asked the designer to maintain the green sole and laces while providing a unique homage to the C.I. Boys. Bright orange paint was used to frame the mural of C.I. Boys characters set against a bubbly background. I was impressed with the seamless imposition of a few of the characters over the Nike swoosh. This affront to the Nike logo may be sacrilege to some sneaker fans but I like this slight nod to artistic freedom by Stizo Custom Kicks.

Another Valentine’s Day shoe from Nike dropped this week. This time, the Nike Womens Blazer Mid Valentine’s Day hit the shelves around the U.S.

These sneakers feature a white linen upper with a very faint all over repeated heart pattern. The Swoosh, back tab and sole is black, while the shoe is also accented with pink and red for Valentine’s Day.

Pink grapefruit leather lines the lace loops, while the laces themselves are dark red.

These shoes are pretty sweet because though they are in the Valentine’s day theme, the heart pattern is very subtle. If you want to pick up a pair for your girl (or ladies who want them for themselves) can find them right now at Nike retailers. Via KF.
