Shoe designer Sekured brought a combination of celestial and urban flair to the pair of Nike Dunk Highs pictured above. A deep blue background is used to simulate the midnight sky. Sky blue orbs represent the stars set against the original black colorway along with the blue background. A combination of severe white lines and pink geometric shapes give the owner of the Galaxy Dunk High an opportunity to feel like they are heading into space from the city skyline.

The innovative aspect of Sekured’s design is a lack of cliched starry sky elements. It would have been simple to just plaster some white paint against a blue backdrop. The paint job balances the spontaneity of a graffiti job with the careful planning of an expert customizer. Check out Sekured’s website for additional designs to place the Galaxy Dunk High in comparison.

    Kool-Aid x Reebok

Kool-Aid and Reebok have collaborated on the upcoming Kool-Aid Pack. These brightly colored shoes feature scented soles from whatever Kool-Aid they are inspired by.Pretty weird, but kind of cool!

These sneakers have quite a bit of branding, including the “Kool-Aid” logo on the heel, the face logo on the side and very unique branding on the bottom of the sole.

No word on when these are going to be released, but we’ll keep you posted.Hey Kool-Aid!

Check out the rest of the colors.

Nike Windmill PE - The Matrix

A few days ago we told you about the new colorways of the Nike Air Flight Windmill. And now, here are couple pictures of some of the Player Editions (PE’s) that will be dropping at House of Hoops in New York.

Above is The Matrix (Shawn Marion) PE and after the jump is the Vince Carter version. The VC is set to be released on January 19th. The rest of the PE’s should be coming out in upcoming weeks.

I’m not VC fan, but his shoe is looking pretty sweet. Expect a lot of NBA players to wearing Windmills for the second half of the season. Plus, they’ll be featured in the Dunk Contest at All Star Weekend next month. Photos: Via Syndication

    Nike AF1 St. Valentine

This Air Force One was especially made for Valentine’s Day. This is available in Motive webstore.

The shoe upper is red in color. It uses premium leather in some panels and patent leather in other panels. The pattern is classic and simple.  The Nike swoosh, backstab and mid-sole are white in color. They look good against the red background. I like the shiny leathers used in the shoe.

Although this shoe commemorates Valentine’s Day, there are no graphics of hearts here. Instead, the entire shoe is colored red. Red is the color of the romantic heart. Thus, it is used for the Valentine’s Day shoe.

Women would love this AF1 and would welcome this as a Valentine’s Day gift. Chocolates, candy and flowers are too temporal and they disappear quickly but this shoe will last a long time.  Valentine’s Day has a partner on March 14. That is known as White Day. Men who had received Valentine’s Day candy now return the favor by presenting their women white pieces of candy, marsh-mellow or some favored item.

I would suggest that if the woman has received a nice pair of these AF1 St. Valentine shoes, she can return the favor by buying a pair of Nike shoes that has a white colorway, to go with the theme of White Day. I’m sure the man would be very pleased to receive the present on White Day.
