    Nike Air Jordan Countdown Pack

The Air Jordan Countdown Pack will be released on Jan. 19. It will sell for USD$310 and the Pack cannot be split up.Some selected stores will carry this product.

The Jordan Brand celebrates the Countdown to the Air Jordan XX3 with the first Air Jordan Countdown Pack. There is something very significant in each Countdown Pack. Every Pack will have 2 sneakers. These shoes will have the roman numeral to be equal to 23. This first Pack features the “Shadow” Air Jordan Retro X and the “White/Black” Air Jordan Retro XIII. X and XIII make XXIII and that’s 23.

The first shoe, the “Shadow” Air Jordan Retro X, has a black colorway that is a color of black that is a shade lighter. The accents are also in black but they are darker in shade. The accents are just above the mid-sole and they form a shape that looks like a pair of lips. The number “23” is embroidered on the lateral ankle, in red and white threads. The shoe lining is checkered.

The second shoe, the “White/Black” Air Jordan Retro XIII, has a very special, new age look. The shoe upper has a pattern of studs that make it like a padded wall. The clean, sleek sneaker looks like something for the space age. The black accents make the white stand out well. I prefer the “Shadow” Air Jordan Retro X, because the space age look is too modern for me.

Nike Air Assault Womens Low - White

If you are looking for a clean pair of shoes for the new year, check out these Nike Air Assault Womens Low’s.When you first look at these shoes, it looks like your classic white-on-white pair of Nikes. However, there is a glitter and metallic aspect that gives that makes this shoe glimmer in the light.

The nicest part of these shoes in my opinion is the ultra clean swoosh. With a pure white-on-white look, the stitching is the only thing that makes the Nike swoosh stand out from the rest of the shoe. There is also a small air pocket that gives the shoes a bit of a more modern feel.

These shoes are out at local Nike retailers. Via Sneaker Files.

    Nike Vandal Hi Green/White/Metallic Silver

If you like to keep things old school simple, check out this Nike Vandal Hi in the Green/White/Metallic Silver colorway.

These shoes are very basic and clean, but really eye-catching. They are basic green canvas accented with a white Swoosh and trim. The Swoosh is edged with a subtle metallic silver.

With so many shoes featuring patchwork colorblocks, distressed leathers or sleek patent, it’s fresh to see a such a basic shoe that still looks good.

  • Nike Air Force Ones Representing Iowa State University

Pimp My Kicks is helping college students and alumni show their school pride by offering hand-painted designs based on major universities. A sample of PMK’s work is the Iowa State-inspired Air Forces Ones shown above. The logo tab on the heel is a mustard yellow hue that stands out from the red paint used on the rest of the shoe. I like the fact that PMK did not overextend the use of yellow paint which can grate on the eyes after awhile.

The careful crafting of ISU mascot Cy the Cardinal by PMK artists shows why these customs are worth a premium price. The right shoe features the fierce mascot in fighting mode while the left shoe features the ISU logo.  These logos look like they leaped off a website or poster to the side of these shoes. Sneaker fans serious about showing where they want to school can get a quote from Pimp My Kicks today.

Nike Air Max 90 JD Sports Exclusive

This Nike Air Max 90 with a colorway of black, white and green is an exclusive shoe available at the JD Sports website. For about $165, you can get a pair of these kicks to call your own.

With a sweet black-on-black look, these shoes from the front look extremely sharp. The main component is the black leather, however there is a black patent swoosh and black laces to complete the black-on-black feel.

When you first glance at the shoe, the only other color you see is some white lines throughout the shoe. However, it isn’t until you look at the back of the shoe that you notice the green swoosh. That green swoosh adds a splash of color to the kicks and gives an old school appearance.
