Nike SB P-Rod, 2 Feb. ‘08, “Valentine’s Day Massacres”By SneakerFreak on February 1st, 2008 | No Comments
Nike SB has an alternative design to offer, different from the usual heart splattered designs that flood the market for Valentine’s Day. The P-Rod 2 Zoom Air is the latest alternative and it has an unusual colorway. There are many colors but black and red feature prominently. This sneaker is called the Valentine’s Day Massacres because it has blood stains (designs) on the toe box and the side panels.
This sneaker is actually very colorful but because the colors are dull, the variety of colors is not very obvious. Even the red toe box is in a deep hue and it looks rich, rather than a siren red that would make it stick out like a sore thumb.
Certain sections of the shoe are done in suede because of the exotic properties. Suede will show the graphics well without appearing as loud.
The romantic colors like pinks and purple are not forgotten. The mid-sole has a short section of pink while the mid-sole of the heel has a section of purple.
The Valentine message embedded in the graphics is very subtle. You can hardly see it and this makes the shoe versatile to use. It can be used for wear at other occasions. The design will not become outdated as fast as those Valentine Day shoes with loud messages like big hearts emblazed on them.

Nike Dunk High Premium – Metallic BlueBy SneakerFreak on February 1st, 2008 | No Comments
Nike continues to release some very cool Dunk Highs for 2008. This is the Metallic Blue Duncan High Premium.
Though these sneakers don’t feature a lot of different colors, they do have a lot of style. Combining a sweet shade of metallic blue, along with black and white, these shoes are a very nice choice.
You can get these right now at
Sold Out for $138.86 USD. I really like the use of white for contrast on the double Swoosh and midsole. But what really stands out is the metallic blue. It gives these shoes just enough glitz and shine without being too bold. Via Sneaker Files. -
