Nike SB Releases @ SoleBox

Nike SB Zoom Tre A.D.

Nike Skateboarding introduced the first Zoom Tre in 2006. It was a shoe that provided good cushioning and grip. It promised not to blow out while giving it’s best quality to the user. This year, Nike introduces the Zoom Tre A.D.

This Tre A.D. uses the Nike Free technology. It has large flex grooves in the right places. The toe box is wrapped in an entire rubber toe cap. The Zoom air bag is inside the shoe.

The white colorway is a great looking shoe. The black and red colored accents complement the shoe. It has a combination of different textures. The tongue is mesh. The mid-section is leather with bullet holes. The heel panels are leather with corrugated texture. It has a red outsole.

Theblack colorway is identical to the white colorway, except that the color combination is different. The accents are light blue and coordinate with the rest of the black shoe well. Due to the dark color, the rubber toe cap looks outstanding. Its outsole is blue in color. I would suggest the black colorway for a more striking effect than the white colorway.

Puma “Tommie Smith” Suede Pack

During the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City when newly crowned 200 meter champion and record holder Tommie Smith raised his fist on the podium, along with bronze medal winner John Carlos, the controversy began. The barefoot athletes’ black power salute was meant to represent black poverty. The two were booed by the crowd. The Olympic committee thought politics had no place during the events.

Smith and Carlos were stripped of their medals and banned from the Olympic village. The statement made headlines around the world and brought attention to the African-American protests happening around the United States.

40 years later, these two brave men never received their Olympic medals, which they rightfully earned. But they are being honored with this small tribute by Puma with the “Tommie Smith” Suede Pack.

To commemorate the 1968 Olympic Black Power Salute, a two sneaker collection of Suedes will release later this year. Both the black and red shoes feature a repeating fist monogram embossed allover. Look for these shoes to be available in August of 2008. Via Streething

Nike Air Max 90 New Blue

Nike is hooking the ladies and kids with another Air Max 90 called the new blue. They feature a blue, plum, andvarsity maize colorway with patent leather and a mudguard as well as swoosh. The â€œNew Blueâ€ Air Max 90 is now available in kids sizes at a Nike retailer near you for $72. via theshoegame
Nike Air Force 1 High: Purple

NYC elected the 93 high top purple/white Air Force Ones as their choice for the best Air Force Ones. These Air Force 1’s will be re-released this summer in limited numbers in NYC.
