  • Custom Nike AF1s for First and Fifteenth Music

Chris Hui and C2 Customs have created a pair of custom Nike Air Force Ones for their friends at First and Fifteenth Music. This group is dedicated to continuing the tradition of mix-tape collaborations in the 21st century. These custom shoes are simple but stand out from other customs due to their bright yellow color.

The difference between clean white and bright yellow leather on a shoe is not extraordinary in most circumstances. Chris Hui has painted these custom Air Force Ones with such clean strokes that the switch between white and yellow is abrupt. I am not a huge fan of the yellow hue used on these shoes but I think it works for First and Fifteenth’s outlandish style.

My favorite part of the shoe is the graphics used on the tongue, heel and designer stamp. C2 Customs used musical notes and classic graphics as an inspiration for the limited number of words painted on these Air Force Ones. I know that I have had a few posts about C2 Customs lately but Chris Hui has had an impressive output in the last few weeks. Check out additional photos below to see these hot sneakers from different angles.

  • Nike Air Max 90 – Lucky Green Pack

Nike Air Max 90 - Lucky Green Pack #1

The Nike Air Max has been a popular shoe in 2008. Now, to add to the trend, check out these Nike Air Max 90’s. This pack is called Lucky Green due to the slight green that is present on each shoe. If green is your color, you need to consider copping a pair.

The thing that really sets these shoes apart is the detailed stitching. Nike did a fine job of giving the stitching a life of its own.

Available in both white and black, the shoes are otherwise very similar. A green swoosh is located on the tongue and on the heel tab of each version – for good luck, of course. You can get these right now at Caliroots. I personally prefer the black version but they are both decent.

  • Puma Unlimited Hi & Lo “Limited Edition”

Puma Unlimited Hi & Lo “Limited Edition”

The Puma Unlimited Hi sells for 13,440 Yen at Mita. The Puma Unlimited Lo sells for 11,550 Yen at Mita. The shoes will be released for sale on April 21st.

The Puma Unlimited Hi has a white/black colorway. The white toe box is framed by black reptile leather. The thick red shoe lace is an accent that complements the red streak that runs across the shoe at the side to the back. The side section has a few panels of the same black, reptile leather. The black tongue has accents in red and white for the boxed area associated with the Puma logo. The midsole is white and the outsole is black.

Puma Unlimited Lo comes in 3 colorways. The black colorway has a white shoe lace to complement the silver streak. The shoe’s inner lining is black and coordinates with the black color scheme.

The next picture shows the Lo with the black/white colorway. The accents are light blue. The shoelace, inner lining and border stitching are in this light blue color. The blue is a striking color and makes the shoe look alive.

The last picture shows the Puma Unlimited Lo with a white toe box and black border of leather. The shoe lace is green. On the midsection, the green slash is a different shade and it looks good. The inner lining is the same shade as the shoe lace.

I like the Puma Unlimited Lo black colorway the best of all.
