Timberland has released their summer 2008 footwear line and some styles include a boat shoe, a slip-on and a chukka. The Cruisemaster II is the classic Timberland version of the boat shoe. This shoe features a full-grain leather upper and a rubber outsole.
The Switchfoot slip-on is an interesting looking shoe that combines leather and organic cotton canvas. I don’t like the appearance of this shoe at all, but some may find it comfortable and flexible.
For the eco-conscious, check out the Rippler Chukka, which features 30% recycled rubber in the outsole and 100% organic canvas. It’s deconstructed style makes it very lightweight and flexible. For versatility, they comes with two pairs of laces – one tonal leather andone colorful cotton. For more information on any of these Timberlands, check out
