Nike Tennis Classic “Rebel Pack” - #1

Check out these two versions of the Nike Tennis Classics that make up the upcoming “Rebel Pack.” While these shoes certainly won’t blow you away, they are definitely a blast from the past. With the old school look still hot in 2008, this release by Nike is sure to turn a few heads and open a few wallets.

The first color scheme features a white and fluorescent orange combination. This shade is a unique color that may or may not work well with your wardrobe. The other color scheme is more universal as it features white and blue. On both shoes, the white is used the most but the secondary color stands on the Nike swoosh and on the backs of the shoes.

These shoes are expected to release this summer. Via High Snobiety

    Hectic x Stussy x New Balance CM670 - Part 2 - #1

Back in February, Hectic and Stussy collaborated with New Balance on the CM670 in two colorways. These shoes were very well received back then when we told you about them.

Now here’s Part 2, this time with this steel grey version. This shoe features the signature C-Cap cushioning midsole. The grey suede and mesh sneaker can be had in two alternate colorways. One using teal accents and the other one using purple. The accent colors are used in the inner lining, as well as on the heel collar. The colors are nice and very muted. So, if you are looking for a shoe that isn’t too wild, these are a nice option.

These shoes are available now beginning today at Stussy stores in Japan and the realmad Hectic flagship store in Toyko. They are priced at about 0 USD.

Nike Air Max Light - Green Stripes

This shoe is sold at Haven for USD120 per pair.

This Nike Air Max Light has a white toe box. At the start of the shoe lace region, there is a strip of grey leather and it extends to the tongue. The tip of the tongue has a tip with a tab. The label here has a green Nike word on a blue background. The grey leather extends out from the tongue and it crosses the midsection of the shoe. In front of this grey strip, there is a panel of black colored leather. There are corrugated lines on this black leather.

The shoe’s midsection is covered in a panel of green and blue colored horizontal stripes. The Nike swoosh is white in color. This shoe is quite colorful in its use of subtle colors. The black and white colors feature prominently. The shoe’s inner lining is white. The white midsole helps the sneaker to look clean and classy.

The back stab of the shoe is a large piece of green reptile leather. There is an elaborately embroidered Nike logo. The blue and green theme is repeated here.

The design of the shoe allows the front view to show the white section of the toe box prominently. It looks to be a dull shoe until you see the side view. The thick midsole has a visible air unit. The white Nike swoosh on the midsection slopes and coordinates with the white midsole and toe box of the shoe. (more…)

  • Grossmaul Nike Air Max Ones

Pats83 has created a slew of new custom Nikes that are available through his website and MySpace page. The best of the bunch in my opinion is the Grossmaul which is pictured in this post. The Grossmaul is a customized pair of Air Max Ones with subtlety and craftsmanship that are desired by many sneaker fans.

The designer left the black/white colorway on these Air Max Ones as a solid background for the shoe’s maple leaf design. Pats83 wasn’t trying to bludgeon sneaker fans with the dark blue maple leafs which is obvious with his use of a lighter blue background. It is a smart move by Pats83 because it forces sneaker fans to take several looks at these shoes before making judgements.

The remainder of Pats83’s new customs exhibit the designer’s steady touch and balanced design aesthetic. I love when designers opt for stylish but subtle designs over flashy aesthetics and the Grossmaul fits that criterion.
