    here

With all the hype surrounding the Nike Marty McFly Hypedunks, a pair of sneakers has released without the public’s knowing. These are the Nike Dunk Hoops Dunkin Go Nuts. The shoes, which features a predominantly brown body and donut crinkles on the strap, take inspiration from kids’ favorite donut store, Dunkin Donuts. The heel looks like a chocolate shell about to crack. The interplay of earthy and bright colors surprisingly creates a harmonies feel to the shoes. The Dunkin Go Nuts are still available at the Harlem House of Hoops.

    Y-3 Field Medalist

The Y-3 Field Medalist is a terrific sneaker if you want to garner some attention without the use of bright colors or anything crazy on your feet. This silver metallic version is set to hit the shelves in September, in addition to a bronze colorway.

The use of allover perforations and the contrasting stripes and trim make these a chic choice. You can these sneakers, priced at $260, at the Y-3 shop or some fine department stores. Via Complex.

    Source of images: here.

The Saucony Shadow 6000 line has 3 colorways. Each colorway has been inspired by a candy bar.

The orange/black/grey/yellow colorway looks cheerful, like colorful candy. The toe box is mesh. Orange color is used for the mud guard and the framework of the sneaker. The yellow shoe lace is a nice accent against the orange panels. The inner lining is made up of orange/ yellow pin stripes. The midsole is yellow while the outsole is black.

The red/ black/ white colorway follows the same basic features of design as the first colorway that was described. The shoe laces are double in number since half of the lacing is done in White/ black pin strips and the half is done with a lace using a white strip on black background. One new feature is the inclusion of black and white pin strips in two areas just above the midsole.

The last detailed picture showed a shoe with a deep purple colorway. The shoe lace is red. The panel on its midsection is blue. The blue accents are continued in two small areas in the mudguard, the tip of the tongue and the outsole. The inner lining is white. All three pairs of shoes are nice.

  • Orange Skin Nike Dunks by Revive Customs
By on July 13th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

The designer behind Revive Customs created these Nike Dunks upon request from a close friend. Revive Customs had never worked with orange and blue fabrics before starting these shoes. I think the Orange Skin Dunks lived up to the expectations of the designer as well as the recipient.

Revive Customs used orange fabric as the backdrop for the entire shoe. The blue material used on the Nike swoosh matches the navy blue tongue to give viewers a place to refresh their color palates. The collar and sole feature a light red color that works well with the primary orange color. The combination of colors used by Revive Customs offers the perfect balance of sharp and dull colors.

You can check out the Orange Skin Nike Dunks at the Revive Customs website linked here. The finishing on these custom sneakers is impeccable given that the designer is venturing outside of his depth.
