The Nike Dunk Highs pictured in this post were created by Dezism to honor one of rock’s greatest guitarists. Dezism’s love of Jimi Hendrix is shown in the great detail and care given to these inspired custom sneakers. I am a big fan of the arrangement of colors and words on the Hendrix Dunk Highs.

The use of yellow and burgundy is perfect for depicting the bursts of excitement and chilled energy used by Jimi Hendrix. The guitarist’s name is written in large letters across the toe set against a burgundy backdrop. The remaining space is filled with names of Hendrix’s great songs including “Little Wing,” “Hey Joe” and the debut album title “Are You Experienced?”.

Vans has stepped things up a notch with these Chukkas made with real ostrich skin. These shoes come in either black or army green.

Ostrich skin is a luxurious material that has a raised dotted pattern throughout. It is oftentimes used in high end handbags, belts and women’s shoes.

If you want a limited edition collaboration to add to your collection, check out this sneaker created by Solebox and Lacoste. These kicks are scheduled to be released on August 22nd and will be extremely limited to thirty pairs.

The colorway for these Tennis 91s is black, grey and neon green. The neon green is really the color that stands out, especially when it is placed against a black background. The shoe has a few Lacoste logos, including on the tongue and on the side of the shoe. The Lacoste alligator is also easy to spot. They are made from the material of towels, so a Solebox towel will be included with the shoes. Via High Snobiety.
