  • Nike “Chinese Ceramics” Pack – Trainer Dunk Hi & Court Force Low
By on August 2nd, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    here

Nike Asia has designed and released some very special shoes. These are inspired by the rich culture of traditional Chinese ceramics. This pack has one Nike Court Force Low and one Trainer Dunk High. The highlight of this Chinese Ceramic pack is the use of decorative, ornamental designs and colors. The traditional design is known as the “blue and white wares.” They are usually found in white pottery and porcelain that have been decorated using a blue pigment and glazed. The shoe imitates the real ceramic color by using a color that matched it. This pack is available at selected stores in Asia.

We shall look at the Court Force Low. The toe box is white with regular, spaced out Chinese words. This is also applied to the main body of the shoe. The Nike swoosh is in shiny, glossy white leather. The mudguard and ankle collar are using the ceramic pattern.

The Trainer Dunk High follows a similar design with a white colorway. The ceramics are on the mudguard, first shoe strap and the heel portion of the shoe. There is an extra Nike swoosh on the midsole, near the heel.

These are nice, souvenir shoes to buy if you wish to celebrate and commemorate the Beijing Olympics.
