Nike Team USA Pack - #1

Using Team USA’s navy, red and white colors, Nike has created another pack of Olympic based shoes. This pack includes three models – the Blazer, Rejuven8 and Delta Force.

These shoes are very simple and good for those looking to steer away from loud colors. I really like the use of glossy patent leather in the Delta Force. These shoes are expected to be relased this Friday, August 8th to celebrate the opening of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. Friday will be a great day for sneakerheads with dozens of different Olympic-inpired shoes being released. Via Sneaker Files.

New Balance Hanon Flying Club M670 Pack - #1

Hanon-shop and New Balance have come together to produce these new running shoes, which feature a classic look and customized materials.

These shoes use a waterproof fabric that was utilized in World War II for flying suits. On the tongue tag, you will find a plane logo. They combine this unique material, along with superior leather, sueded pigskin, a mesh tongue and Ventile smart fabric to create this pack of M670’s.

These sneakers come in two colorways – black/yellow/red and grey/yellow/black. The black version is more bold, while the grey is much more subtle. These shoes are being released late in August and limited to just 150 pairs. They will be priced at 74.95 GBP at the Hanon-shop. Via Hypebeast.

    Source of Images: here.

This sneaker from Sam Flores Adidas Originals and Upper Playground will be released on Thursday, August 7. This is the first hi-top shoe in the collection of their series. The artists who contributed efforts in this project are Aesop Rock, David Choe and Herbert Baglione.

The stocks for this sneaker number to only 500 pairs for the entire world. They are sold at Upper Playground and some UP retail stores.

Sam Flores originated from Mexico. He migrated to the West Coast of US 15 years ago. He became a good artist in fine art and product design. He applied his skills to shoe designing.Flores’ art has a futuristic perspective that is identified and shared by many people. Fans like his art because it appeals to them.

Sam Flores talked about his design for this sneaker. He said that his objective was to make a colorful sneaker for warm weather. He chose neutral colors to win the approval of male and female customers. He said that those colors could take in some dust and still look good. In short, the maintenance was low.

Sam has worked with Upper Playground in other projects too. He will be working on vinyl figures for Upper Playground’s tenth anniversary celebrations.

This is a good looking shoe and I definitely would like to own a pair.

  • Soka University Dunk Low
By on August 6th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Interaxionne Footwear created the Soka University Dunk Lows for a student who wanted to honor the California private college in a unique way. Soka University of America is located in Aliso Viejo, California which means that the student will be able to wear these kicks year round without worrying about snow or cold weather. The university was established in 2001 though its reputation matches some of the finest private colleges on the West Coast.

These Dunks feature the Soka University logo on the tongue as an initial identifier for the wearer’s friends and colleagues. Interaxionne added a black and white image of a lion to show off the school’s mascot in an appropriate manner. The blue/gold colors of Soka University are applied sparingly on these shoes to celebrate the school’s growing reputation without using an excessive amount of paint.

Readers can check out images of the Soka University Dunk Lows by looking at the designer’s website linked here.I am a big fan of these shoes and I am sure that the recipient will be proud to sport these sneakers around campus.

By on August 6th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Air Jordan 6 Rings Laser Edition
The Air Jordan 6 Rings is a beautiful rendition of what Brand Jordan is about. It’s a Frankenstein mish-mash of some of the best Air Jordan sneakers, much like the Spiz’ike and Dub-Zero. The 6 Rings is a bit different because it combines sneakers from Michael Jordan’s heyday of six championship rings and arguably the best era of Tinker Hatfield designed Air Jordans. This Laser Edition of the Air Jordan 6 Rings may be the most beautiful Jordan mish-mash to date. But, why don’t you decide? The sample is now on sale. See more angles after the break. $269.
