  • “Aged Leather Pack”- Court Force High
By on August 11th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

At the end of last month, we reported the news of the Aged Leather Pack. In that post we explored two court force lows releasing alongside the kicks pictured above. One a solid red with white outsole and sock liner and the other a solid blue with white outsole and sock liner.

Today we take a look at another Court Force releasing in the Aged Leather Pack. Unlike the previous sneakers this one is a hi top version of the Court Force. Like the rest of the aged leather pack, these too sport a monotone color scheme (green) with the same white outsole and sock liner. This shoe also features a nice mixture of materials. Leather around the toecap in addition to the premium aged leather that makes up the shoe. Nylojn can also be seen around the heel, something that the lows don’t offer.

This pack is now available at MajorDC. Check with your local Nike Indie Account holders for availability.

  • TTK Party Reflections Nike Blazers
By on August 11th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

It isn’t hard to find a favorable post that I have written about TTK in the annals of MyAirShoes. I have written plenty of reviews about the designer’s custom sneakers that can be found by searching the website’s archives. His latest custom sneakers may put some of these past projects to shame.

TTK recently unveiled a pair of custom Nike Blazers called the Party Reflections that is a fantastic piece of sneaker art. The designer used magenta (right) and turquoise (left) spots on the Nike swooshes to give the appearance that the wearer was too eager to show off these shoes to wait for the paint to dry. TTK adds the opposite color to each shoe subtly to balance out the shoes. This crafty approach to sneaker design shows that TTK’s best work is still ahead of him.

You can check out additional work by TTK in his latest post on Nike Talk linked here. The designer has also created a pair of Nike Blazers called the Submerged Jungles that are pretty stylish.

Adidas Originals Ciero Mid - #1

Check out this new model from Adidas called the “Ciero Mid.” Just by looking at it, you can tell this shoe is a fusion of a skateboarding shoe and a basketball shoe. While it has a laidback look, these sneakers a surprising amount of support.

The upper is brown suede complemented with black stripes, laces and other trim, while the midsole in white. To add a bit of spice to the shoe, the Adidas logo is in hot red on the tongue and side. You can get these shoes right now from some online retailers, but look for them to hit the Adidas Originals retailers near you soon. Via Sneaker News.

    Supra Spring '09 Preview - #1

Looking ahead to next year, Supra will be releasing three sets of shoes each featuring the Trinity, Skytop and Strapped models for Spring 2009.

The burgundy patent pack pictured above is my favorite of the three. The glossy deep patent leather is a nice contrast to the stark white midsole. The other two color schemes include a bronze full grain leather and grey tie dye, also in all three models. I’m not thrilled with the grey version but these are just preliminary pictures so I’ll wait to see more.

I’m sure that we’ll be learning more and seing detailed images of these shoes in upcoming months. Via Sneaker Files and Adequate.
