  • Jordan Spizike Black/Cactus/Violet – Euro Release
By on September 1st, 2008 | No Comments Comments

I you’ve seen the Stepped on my J’s video, you might remember seeing Nelly and Gentry Humphrey wearing this Spiz’ike( most likely a sample). First images hit the web on July 4th but now we have pictures of the final version. It likes like Brand Jordan make a couple minor changes that helped improve the overall look of the shoe. The purple stitching adds nice contrast to the black suede upper. It also helps bring out catcus and violet cement print around the toe cap and heel. Last but not least they added a nice translucemt catcus green sole.
Sorry Spiz’ike fans the too will be a “Euro exclusive” but a few pairs are up for grabs at Marqueesole No exact release date yet,So check up on your favorite Europeam site regularly. You might be surprised.

  • Air Jordan True Flight
By on September 1st, 2008 | No Comments Comments

The Air Jordan True Flight looks like Air Jordan 7 but it is an updated version. True Flight has a flatter sole with herringbone pattern for a good grip. Zoom Air technology is used for higher performance cushioning. The Air Jordan True Flight will be released for sale on Jan. 17 for $140.

The toe box aligns itself straight upwards with the tongue. There is a central strip of leather that runs upwards from the base of the toe box. The width between the shoe lace holes is wide to show off the tongue. The tongue is black with red thread machine stitching. At the higher tip of the tongue, the flap spreads upwards into a large panel, lined with a thin, red border. There is a figure of Air Jordan, done in white. The side of the shoe has interlocking panels of leather that have outlines sewn in red stitches. At the side of the heel, there is another figure of Air Jordan. This time, it is done in red. The midsole is interesting. The most striking part of the midsole is in the accents or red, grey and white.

  • K!CROX Air Force Ones
By on September 1st, 2008 | No Comments Comments

K!CROX has combined spray-paint graphics and colorful designs on past sneakers. The designer has created the K!Crox Air Force Ones to showcase these skills for the vast community of online sneaker fans. These photos were found on the designer’s Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

The K!CROX Air Force Ones feature an interesting mixture of colors that may not make much sense at first. I enjoy the brain-like design that wraps around the heel because it looks completely different from the front panels. The light blue, gray and red featured on the rest of the shoe is conventional enough to contrast with K!CROX’s customized heels.

K!CROX ties together all of these elements with the black spray logo on the heel. This spray paint look spells out K!CROX and overlaps on the white outsole. I like the contrasts on the K!CROX Air Force Ones and cannot wait to see the designer’s work in the future.

    Adidas ZX 9000 and ZX 7000 - #1

If you are a fan of Adidas running shoes, you’ll like these two ZX releases. The white shoe is the Adidas ZX 9000, while the darker shoe is the Adidas ZX 7000. Both models are available at The Good Will Out. The ZX 9000 is 129 euros and the ZX 7000 is 119 euros.

The ZX 9000s feature a colorway comprised of white and off-white. While the shoe isn’t too flashy, its intricate design makes it an interesting shoe upon closer inspection. The ZX 7000 has a more varied colorway that includes black, grey and various shades of bluish silver. This sneaker looks high tech and its lightweight makes it a very comfortable wear. • Jordan CP3 2009
By on August 31st, 2008 | No Comments Comments

    Image: here.

The Air Jordan CP3 2009 is one of the signature shoes of Chris Paul. Chris Paul is the only point guard in the NBA with a signature shoe. This design is the second sneaker for the New Orleans Hornets guard fresh off an Olympic gold medal from Beijing Olympics 2008. This design resembles the XX3. Jordan Brand is using “less glue” for the shoe and using more stitching instead on the side panel.

The toe box is white. On the inner side of the shoe’s toe box, there is a group of perforations. On the inner side of the heel, there is also another group of perforations. The tongue is interesting as there are panels of dark blue (or black) attached. The shoe lace is sparsely strung across the tongue to allow people to see the unique structure of it.

The side panel or midsection of the shoe has one large dark blue panel with machine stitching providing the pattern. There is extra stitching to accentuate semi-circle ring braces. Orange colored thread was used for the stitches. The midsole is white, with some accents in blue/black. If you like the features in the shoe, you will enjoy the overall design.
