  • Adidas Originals Craftsmanship Sneaker Pack – Decade Low
By on September 7th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Adidas Originals Craftsmanship Sneaker Pack - Decade Low - #1

The Decade Low was a hardwood classic from the 80s and it’s back again as part of the adidas Originals Craftsmanship pack. These shoes will be released later this month.

This pack takes a traditonal colorway and upgrades it with perforated leather, a thicker toe box and other nice touches. Check out more photos of both of these styles after the jump, via Hypbeast. The white/blue version is simple and clean, while the brown/green edition offers a terrific color scheme for fall.

  • Converse Wade 4
By on September 7th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Dwayne Wade, just coming off of knee surgery, was one of the best surprises and assets to Team USA in the Olympic Tournament. For most of the Games the US had little trouble dealing with opponents, but Wade’s 27 point in the Final was quite valuable to the team. For the entire tournament Wade laced up in the Converse Wade Team Signature, but for the Finals he broke out the new Converse Wade 4 – but only for pre-game practice. This colorup was just like the other United We Rise edition sneakers worn in the Olympics by Team USA. Overall the shoes aren’t bad, but not nearly as spectacular as his game play in the NBA (when his knees work) or in the Olympics.

    Atmos x New Balance 576 Iridescent - #2

As part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the New Balance 576, New Balance hooked up with Atmos to create a hologram edition of the shoe. The iridescent black shoes are accented with pink elephant print at the heel, hot pink on the tongue and other colorful touches. The liner of these shoes features a gradient rainbow pattern.

If you are a fan of the 576, these shoes are a hot choice. They will be releasing at Atmos on September 11th. Via Atmos.

  • Nike Air Zoom Encore x Red Bull
    By on September 6th, 2008 | 1 Comment1 Comment Comments

These are special Nike 6.0 sneakers developed for the Red Bull Music Academy. Fifty pairs of the Nike Air Zoom Encore shoes were laser engraved with the Red Bull logo and presented to lucky people during the RBMA event in Atlanta in May 2008.

The toe box is light grey and has perforations. The mudguard at the toe cap is shiny blue while the mudguard between the toe cap and midsection is white leather. The Red Bull twin bulls logo is laser engraved on the white leather. The shoe lace is dark blue in color and it matches the shiny blue accent at the midsection of the shoe. The main midsection is in light grey. The Nike swoosh is in bright white and it stands out.

The back tab is a panel of shiny red leather that has “Nike” on it in yellow outlines. The base of the heel is also in shiny red leather. The midsole is white. The lower layer of the midsole is red for three quarters of the shoe while the base has an outline of yellow for its lower midsole. The inner sole is in dark blue. I like the use of blue accents as it provides a blue framework look for the shoe.

The black canvas version is 1.299 SEK (about $215 USD) and the white sneakers are 1.199 SEK (about $198 USD). • Upcoming Air Jordan True Flight – Black/Red/White
By on September 6th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

This shoe clearly looks much like the Air Jordan 7 but is updated wish a flatter sole with herringbone traction for a better grip and Zoom Air for higher performance cushioning. Some blurry catalog scans have leaked, but these shoes deserve to be seen properly for a first impression. The Air Jordan True Flight will take off January 17th for $140. The concept of a retro Jordan with the performance of today’s has been a hope of mine for quite a few years.
