Adidas Conductor Hi Felt + Adidas Concord High - #1

Two new premium styles from Adidas are set to be released. The Adidas Conductor Hi and the Adidas Concord Hi. The Conductor uses a clean black leather upper and combines it with a felt extension to create the look of a super high top. The Concord, on the other hand, is a simple white and silver colorway.

These shoes are available at many Adidas retailers now and will be online at davidz.com as of September 29th. The Conductor, which is priced at $120, is definitely an interesting shoe that could be a good choice in the colder months. The Concord is available for $100. Via Freshness Mag.

  • PipeTastic Air Force Ones

JBF used his favorite screen saver as inspiration for his latest custom sneakers. The sneaker artist designed a pair of white Nike Air Force Ones with a series of colored pipes running from heel to toe. The PipeTastic Air Force Ones were posted by JBF on the NikeTalk thread linked here.

The designer used gold paint for the Nike swoosh, the heel tag as well as the border of each pipe to add some glitz to the PipeTastics. JBF added green and blue pipes that intersect throughout the shoe to simulate the constant movement of these pipes on a computer screen. It isn’t difficult to imagine the pipes rotating and shifting second by second because JBF uses color differences to create the appearance of movement.

Every designer needs to think about elements of everyday life to create customs that are authentic. JBF didn’t try to use elaborate themes and colors to create the PipeTastics; instead, he chose something like a default screen saver that is overlooked by people everyday. JBF does a great job converting something mundane into a piece of art.

    Randy Moss x Pony 2008 Fall/Winter Collection - #1

In the NFL offseason, New England Patriots star Randy Moss made the switch to Pony after being sponsored by Jordan Brand since back in the day when he was with the Vikings. This was a surprising move to many but Moss always seems to be doing something exciting.

With Tom Brady out for the season, Moss will be center stage for the Patriots, which may help up the image of Pony. This special fall/winter collection offers shoes for all aspects of Moss’ game including training, on-field play and off-field leisure and recovery.

The collection seen here includes the Moss Trainer Mid, Moss 5.OZ Trainer and Moss Top Star Mid. These shoes are available now at select Pony dealers. Via Hypebeast.

Vans Syndicate and Gabe Morford have collaborated to design The Half cab and Era. Gabe is a photographer and artist. This Pack will be released in time for the holiday season of 2008.

Let us look at the Half Cab. It has a small black portion as its toe box. The ankle collar is black and so is the small segment in the midsection. The rest of the shoe is covered in a grey colored accent. The mudguard that surrounds the shoe is grey and forms a thick framework for the sneaker. The grey panel at the midsection has a white colored embroidered Half Cab label and a figure of a skateboarder. The midsole is white, while the outsole is beige. A small triangle in black has the engraved letter S to denote Vans. The tread is in a dense lattice of crossing lines. There is a “Vans” logo at the bottom of the midsole at the back of the heel.

Let’s look at the Era now. The ankle of the shoe is cut lower than the Half Cab. Its toe box is a large grey cap that occupies almost half of the shoe. The back of the heel has a large grey colored cap too. Both shoes look good and you can choose your preference based on the framework details.
