Though most of the attention on Asics shoes is on the Gel Lyte III model, the retro GT Quick is also a nice option.

This is the 2nd SB Dunk Mid in the Super Hero/Villian Pack. The dark colored kicks are made to represent an older version of The Batman.They wear a dark grey and black color scheme which pops next to the yellow accents. Targeted for a late 09 release but Industrial Rideshop is now taking pre orders.

 

 

Nike is no stranger to plaid and have used the simple pattern with a few releases this year and is scheduled to release this Plaid Dunk Mid Premium SB next Spring. Plaid appears around the ankle and not at the mid panel which is where it was intially. In addition, obsidian, black and beige are a few other colors appearing on this premium model. Release is set for Spring of ‘09, but a sample pair has appeared on eBay.

 

 

Reebok continues their Artist Series with their lifestyle model Alien Stomper, getting its inspiration from the Alien movie series.

The Adidas Boston Celtics Superstar is an incredible tribute to the Celtics. On the heel, it features the stitched championship trophy silhouette, and the number 17 to represent the number of times the Celtics have taken home the championship. The team logo on the heel looks perfect, and the inner side panels Boston on the left shoe, and Celtics on the right. Lastly, World Champions 07-08 is printed on the side.  You don’t have to be a Celtics fan to appreciate the effort from Adidas on these, but you probably will have to hold back the tears if you’re a Laker fan.

The Nike Zoom Adrenalin Penny Hardaway PE is a shoe made in honor of Hardaway’s contract with Phoenix Suns. This shoe is not for sale to the public. The colorway is black/purple. The toe box is a narrow band of black. The tongue is in purple mesh. At the tip of the tongue, there is a “1 Cent” logo in orange color. There is also a small, silver colored Nike swoosh below the “1 Cent.” The shoe lace is a nice purple to match and coordinate with the body of the shoe. There are small, discreet, shoe lace locks on the first and last pair of laces.

The midsection has a large section which is black colored. This black section is divided into smaller panels by the use of machine stitching along borders. The heel has a back tab with some dots and a Nike swoosh in orange. The spine of the heel has red lettering. The outsole is purple with some orange accents. The treads are dense. The inner lining of the shoe is colored purple. The shoe is well designed to make full use of the alternating colors of black and purple.These strong colors make the shoe look good.
