Nike has been promoting the Nike Hyperdunk. Professional athletes like Kobe Brant, Rashard Lewis, Chris Bosh, Andre Iguodala and Shawn Marion have used the Nike Hyperdunk in their respective team colorways. Nike has made the Hyperdunks in the college team colors too. The pictures show two Hyperdunks representing the University of Kentucky and the Syracuse University. Currently, these shoes are sold to the college players. You can buy these at the osneaker website for $225 each.

First, let us look at the details of the University of Kentucky Nike Hyperdunk PE. The sneaker has a black colorway. The tongue is in blue mesh, under the blue shoe lace. The tip of the tongue has a blue tag with the initials UK. The midsection has a flywire in white lines. The blue accents complement the black upper and white accents.

Let us look at the Syracuse University Nike Hyperdunk PE. The black colorway has accents in orange and blue. The tongue has a tag with the school initial in blue color. I like the bright orange color of the accents.

The backtabs of both the Hyperdunks are the same. The large back tab covers the heel of the shoe. The midsole and outsole have used the standard designs of the Hyperdunk.

  • Custom Air Max 90 – “Purple Cement”
By on November 12th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

These custom Nike Air Max 90s by YoaKustoms are pretty fresh if you ask me. I happen to be a fan of grape/purple sneakers so im personally feeling the purple and black signature Air Jordan cement pattern. To add a little extra flare to the sneakers YoaKustoms gave them a gradient design which starts out as black on the front of the shoes and slowly starts to fade to a light purple before turning to white around the swoosh. I can always appreciate the cement/elephant pattern due to the fact neither two will ever be the same when its done by a customizer. You always get a little different design from each person, some which include a more cluttered cement pattern and others which limit it a little bit. All of which usually always tend to fit the flow of the total design.

  • Sunrise Fade Air Force Ones
By on November 12th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Sneakers by Sean customized these old Air Force Ones for a friend recently. The Sunrise Fade Air Force Ones allowed the designer to play around with fading colors for the first time while creating a nice custom. These sneakers were found on the Sneakers by Sean Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

The first layer of paint is a deep red with a black horizon line set along the heel. This horizon line is peppered with small trees to add some ambiance to the coming dawn. The main event on the Sunrise Fade is a beautiful yellow sun shining its light up from the outsole to the eyelets.

Sneakers by Sean did a great job creating radiant beams of light set against the black middle panel. The red background surrounding the toe box and heel is a result of the sun’s newborn light. I have posted additional photos below to show the Sunrise Fade Air Force Ones from every angle made available by the designer.

In addition to the Georgetown Hoyas colorway of the Air Jordan Ol’ School, here is another dope colorway of this simple Air Jordan Basketball shoe. One of the staple color combination’s in Jordan Brand’s arsenal is Black, Varsity Red, and White and here it is applied to this Ol’ School. The shoe’s upper consists mostly of Black with hits of Varsity Red and White.
