Nike Womens Air Force 1 - Varsity Maize - #1

For the ladies looking to add to their Air Force 1 collection, 2009 is shaping up to be a good year to do just that. Here’s yet another Nike Air Force 1 for women – this time in yellow. Expect the shoes to hit stores in the United States in the final week of January.

The colorway of these kicks features varsity maize and white. While the majority of the shoe is yellow maize, while the white swoosh, lining and outsole stand out in nice contrast. The maize is used in different textures of the shoe, including smooth leather and textured patent, which keeps the overall look from being too bland. These sneakers are set to release in the US on January 24th. Via Sneaker News.

    Adidas x Vespa Footwear - #1

Check out these shoes from the Adidas x Vespa Spring 2009 collection. With an old school look and a unique feel, these shoes could very well be a big hit. The colorway is simple but the details make this shoe a very interesting one.

Using rich, premium suede in a deep red, along with top stitching and other unique details, these shoes offer a nice change of pace. White is also used on the sole, heel, stitching, vespa logo on the side and adidas tag on the tongue. This collection is part of the Adidas 60th anniversary celebration. Via High Snobiety.

  • Come On, Vamonos! Air Force Ones
By on December 31st, 2008 | No Comments Comments

D@ Prince Customs has just posted a second installment in his Dora the Explorer trio at the Nike Talk thread linked here. The “Come On, Vamonos!” Air Force Ones feature the show’s logo on the left shoe complete with leafy background and colorful letters. On the right shoe, D@ Prince painted a detailed picture of Dora with her friend Boots the Monkey.

While the detail work is remarkable on the “Come On, Vamonos!” Air Force Ones, the basic elements were not overlooked by D@ Prince. The blue toe box, pink swoosh and rhinestone tongue look great as you look away from the depictions of Dora and friends. D@ Prince added names in cursive on the heel to customize these shoes for his clients.

At the pace that D@ Prince has set for past customs, we should expect to see the final installment in the next month or so. The “Come On, Vamonos!” Air Force Ones do not disappoint like so many middle installments have in the entertainment world. I will keep you posted when D@ Prince posts the third version of his Dora the Explorer series.
