Nike Huarache 2009 Player Edition Tony Parker.

This is a great collection of Nike Huarache 2009 Player Editions. This collection features shoes for three players; Tony Parker, Chris Bosh and OJ Mayo. The shoes are sold at Kix Files Store website. One pair sells for $140.

The Tony Parker shoe has a San Antonio Spurs colorway. The leathers used are premium and patent leather. The ankle area has a TP logo. The logo has been cleverly designed such that the letters merge into one another. The premium leather gives the shoe a solid look. The specially patented leather with shine and white stripes gives the shoe a glitzy look.

The Nike Huarache 2009 Player Edition on Chris Bosh is brightly colored. The Raptors team color is used. Bosh’s signature CB4 is patterned on the ankle of the shoe. The font is done in a different style to ensure a unique look.

The Nike Huarache 2009 Player Edition version for OJ Mayo has black and blue in its colorway. The accents are white and yellow. As usual, the player’s initials are done in monogram style on the ankle of the shoe. This pair is different from the other two already discussed above. The Nike swoosh is in white color, which contrasts with the other two sneakers. (Images)

  • Cookie Monster Air Force Ones
    By on January 16th, 2009 | 5 Comments5 Comments Comments

D@ Prince Customs was asked to customize some Air Force Ones with Cookie Monster imagery. The client’s friend loved Cookie Monster as a kid and these customs were given as an extra-special Christmas present. D@ Prince delivered with the Cookie Monster Air Force Ones (nicknamed the “On nom nom nom…” AF1s), first featured on the Nike Talk post linked here.

On the right shoe, D@ Prince wrote the words “Cookie Eating Machine” with cookie in red lettering and eating machine painted to look like a metal stamp. The Cookie Monster AF1s show the featured character on the outside of the left shoe, munching on a chocolate chip cookie. The toe box and middle panel are painted to look like chocolate chip cookies while the remaining space is painted Cookie Monster blue.

The finishing touch on the Cookie Monster Air Force Ones was the inclusion of the names Sasha and Marie near the toe area. D@ Prince strikes again with a fantastic custom celebrating a beloved childhood character. After all, who didn’t want to eat a plate full of chocolate chip cookies like the Cookie Monster when they were young? Our love of the Cookie Monster finds voice with the Cookie Monster Air Force Ones.
