Cooked up by one of NY’s newest sneaker boutiques, the RISE x FILA Cage “New York is for Lovers” is almost here. Often regarded as a head-down population, New York’s own want people to know the true, warm character of the city. RISE teamed up with FILA to portray the truth, creating this all-red warm makeup of the FILA Cage. On top of the message, the red composition also represents the shop’s support of the research and development for a HIV/AIDS cure. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the cause when this admirable RISE x FILA collaboration releases in a quantity of only 200 pairs for $110 in-store today, then online on June 30th at Rise.

Such is symbolized on the Etonic Akeem the Dream Retro. This mid ’80s model relies on a high top cut, set to white leather and accented by ketchup and mustard accents, matching the motif of the Rockets at that time. Although it only comes in women’s sizes, we still cannot help but admire the beauty that is the adidas Tech Super W Salmon Toe. The new sneaker features a soft suede upper that is done in a combination of tones that complement each other.

The sneaker comes packed with a texturized rubber outsole for better traction. The adidas three-stripes branding is done in black leather found at the shoes’ quarter panel. Rounding up the look of the sneaker are the mesh-lined interior, EVA midsole, and black laces.
