  • Reebok Rail “Spurs”
By on April 17th, 2014 | No Comments Comments

    Reebok-The-Rail-Blue-Pink-Grey-2

Paying homage to Glenn Robinson‘s last year in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, who once had blue and pink in their logo, the Reebok The Rail is on its way in a Blue/Pink-Grey style code. The Big Dog was known in the league for his hard-nosed style of play, inspiring his signature sneaker that is just as aggressive. Originally born in 1996, the durable design now relaxes in refreshing fashion. This representative uses a grey nubuck base, accented by the Spurs’ throwback tones of teal and pink on the medial and lateral panels. Black and white contribute additional contrast throughout on this hot makeup that will drop in both adult and grade school sizes, as seen above. Get the “Spurs” Rails when they release in limited quantities for $100 on April 25th at select RBK retailers, including Reebok.com.

Wish X Pony Slam Dunk (Year of the Pony)

It has been quite a long while since a sneaker from Pony made Sole Redemption headlines. It’s interesting because Pony is a brand that we have been following for years, and we might have been concentrating on all the other sneaker releases because we have forgotten to include Pony’s brilliance into our sneaker news rotation.

We are just happy that Pony never fails to amaze us with their sneaker aesthetics, and proof of that is its new collaboration with Atlanta-based sneaker label Wish for the “Year of the Pony” Slam Dunk sneaker. If you’re into a sneaker that uses color blocking technique in its design, you gotta love this red and black pony hair for the new shoes’ upper. Rounding up the look of the sneaker are the reflective Chevron and lace area accents. The Wish X Pony Slam Dunk (Year of the Pony) sneaker will soon come your way on April 25th.
