Vans has rolled out two of their premier packs for Spring 2014, each with contrasting styles that cover the entire spectrum. The Vans “Ombre” Pack features two simplistic designs of the classic Era silhouette, a black and a teal version that are each dip-dyed with a gradual gradient design from toe to heel. The Vans “Tie Dye” Pack utilizes both the Era and the Sk8-Hi, one black and one brown but both covered in traditional tie die to create psychedelic silhouettes. Ranging from $50-65 a piece, all four of the pictured kicks are available now at select Vans retailers.

Last weekend, Tony Wroten had the sole from his White/Varsity-Red Steel Air Jordan 10s blowout in a game against the Pacers. The sole from the 2005 retro release came completely detached from the upper during the fourth quarter of the game (see the video below), with Wroten exiting the game to switch into a pair of “Playoff” Air Jordan 11s. The situation was definitely a bummer for the 2014 Kicks On Court Champ contender, but it does have a silver lining. Delaware Online reported the following quote on the occurrence:

Perhaps Money will send Tony some new kicks? We hope so. Tune into Kicks On Court to see what Wroten rocks next.

The saga continues. The Air Jordan 5 “3Lab5″ may have seemed like a one-off concept upon first launch, but a preview look at the upcoming Black/Silver colorway sees the third installment. Previewed by Andy Oliver, this pair places a deep red hue on the upper, contrasted by carbon fiber midsole detailing.
