The camo pattern is really here to stay. One glaring proof is Nike Skateboarding’s recent launch of their Camo sneaker pack for Spring 2014. For this new offering, the design team at Nike SB has once again impressed us with their ability to use the same pattern and incorporate them in sneaker silhouettes that we want to add to our growing collection.

The Spring 2014 Camo pack features new iterations of well-loved skate sneaker silhouettes—Stefan Janoski and Satire Canvas—done with a fresh camo upgrade. The Satire Canvas features a black base upper mixed with a green camo print. Meanwhile the Stefan Janoski shoe comes in in khaki tone that is done with a dessert camo print. The Nike SB Spring 2014 Camo Pack are currently available at select Nike retailers.

  • Jordan Flight Runner Officially Unveiled
By on March 18th, 2014 | No Comments Comments

Jordan Brand has unveiled their first-ever running shoe. Michael Jordan is permanently retired from professional basketball, but he will now have his Jordan Flight Runner in rotation for maintaining his physical fitness. MJ’s brand has produced an array of training models through the years, but the Flight Runner marks the first time the company has created a specific strider. Similar to the Jordan Flight Flex seen at All-Star weekend, the Flight Runner uses ultra-supportive Dynamic Fit technology and Nike Zoom cushioning. This pioneer also features an advanced heat-and-pressure fusion process that creates a strong and exceptionally lightweight bond. Designed with an emphasis on heel support and responsive cushioning, the sleek silhouette allows athletes to train at the highest level.

Already on the feet of JB’s college teams between their tournament games, the Jordan Flight Runner will be available to everyone on May 1st for $110. Tell us your thoughts on Jordan Brand’s entrance into the running scene in the feedback box below, and keep Nice Kicks bookmarked for everything sneakers.

  • Kicks On Court: Who Brought Out the Best Sneaker Surprise?
By on March 18th, 2014 | No Comments Comments

St. Patrick’s Day had the majority of the NBA sneaker stars rocking green last night. Jordan Brand dropped a host of PEs, while many Nike ballers elected themed takes on the Nike Zoom Crusader. Not all the sneaker sightings were predictable though, as we saw some of the best surprises of the season.

Paul George pulled together the holiday hues with his team tones by rocking the Sole Collector x Nike Zoom Flight The Glove “Sonic Wave” in unzipped fashion. Thaddeus Young stuck to his Nike Air Penny V streak by sporting a custom pair, while Wilson Chandler matched the Nuggets throwbacks with the “Olympic” Air Jordan 7s. Adding to the excitement, Rockets reserve Isaiah Canaan brought back the AND1 Tai Chi in the famed White/Red colorway.

If all that wasn’t enough, we saw P.J. Tucker rotating Kobe 9s in Brooklyn and Shelvin Mack sporting “Shedding Skin” Nike Kobe 8 iDs. Let us know your favorites from today’s Kicks On Court.

  • Nike LeBron 11 “Oregon” PE
By on March 18th, 2014 | No Comments Comments

The Ducks have their dancing shoes. Nike’s favorite team is headed to the big dance with a new LeBron 11 “Oregon” PE, distributed specially for their upcoming NCAA Tournament appearance. Oregon has laced up nothing but iDs and PEs this season in College Kicks On Court, and these new LBJ 11s that are previewed by Duck guard Joseph Young might be one of the best yet. Using UO’s traditional color combination, a green base holds white Hyperposite overlays with yellow detailing throughout. Give us a line with your thoughts on these in the feedback box below, and watch for the Ducks to don these Thursday against BYU.
