Last year, adidas has relaunched the iconic sneaker silhouette, the Stan Smith, and with its huge come back came its different and fresh iterations. This year, adidas Skateboarding has joined the bandwagon by unleashing its own verstion of the Stan Smith sneaker for Spring/Summer 2014. The fresh iteration known as the Stan Smith Vulc features a double suede upper with eyelets that were recessed. The adidas Stan Smith came back last month, and it is definitely here to stay with the number of renditions being done with the classic silhouette. This year, Opening Ceremony has teamed up with adidas Originals to style the iconic sneaker with a baseball theme design.

In line with the upcoming Major League Baseball season, the Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals “Baseball” Stan Smith channels the baseball gloves as the usual adidas Three Stripes branding are switched for intricate glove stitching embellishments using leather woven through the sneaker’s eyelets.

The mid cut sneaker features a premium leather upper adorned by Opening Ceremony branding on the heel and tongue. The Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals “Baseball” Stan Smith come in two gorgeous colorway choices of navy and white.
