The Nike and Kobe team-up is back again this season with the Nike Kobe 8 SYSTEM. The sneaker is the latest pair to be released from Kobe Bryant’s signature basketball shoes that are lined up for this year. The Kobe 8 SYSTEM features a multicolored neon upper with swirls of black hues. The sneaker is designed by Nike’s Eric Avar to symbolize the NBA superstar’s reflections of where he currently is and where he wants to be. Additional details include the neon green Swoosh, an outsole with hues that transition from purple to red, and a chrome metal heel panel. The Nike Kobe 8 SYSTEM is expected to hit store shelves on January 25^th.

The latest in the evolution of Nike Flyknit was recently unveiled, and now we have a detailed look at one of the more subtle colorways. The Nike Flyknit Lunar2 “Wolf Grey” has less tonal flare than its fellow counterparts, but offers a great view of the model’s construction. A wolf grey sewn base on the toe conjoins with a denser knitted portion on the midfoot and heel of the silhouette to reinforce the upper. Black threads intertwine with the cool grey base to create a dark grey appearance on the back half, while a black and wolf grey Lunarlon midsole keep it consistent. An angular design on the midsole and a large white Swoosh add contrast and further differentiate this modern model.
