The holiday festivities continue with the Nice Kicks Golden Ticket Giveaway. This Saturday, Nice Kicks will issue golden tickets to two lucky sneakerheads. What do golden tickets grant access to and how can you win? Glad you asked. The winner of a golden ticket will be granted the right to reserve one pair of shoes for purchase in 2014 from the Nice Kicks Shop, no matter the release. The ticket can only be used once and the reservation must be made seven days before release date.  No new releases are restricted, so make it count. Sneakerheads wishing to make the golden ticket their own can purchase a Nice Kicks lanyard in-store or online for a chance to win. Lanyards cost $4 and all proceeds will benefit the Austin Children’s Shelter. Attendees of the Nice Kicks Charity Holiday Party will also be entered to win a golden ticket. One golden ticket will be awarded to the winner of the online/in-store giveaway and one golden ticket will be awarded to the winner of the party giveaway. Good luck! This ticket is non-transferable and must be used in 2014.

In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year, adidas Originals has unveiled the adidas Originals SS14 Chinese NY Fashion pack. As a cultural tribute to the upcoming event, two of the brand’s most popular sneaker silhouettes, the Tech Super and Superstar 80, get a new look utilizing red and gold uppers to represent fortune and good luck.

Nike LeBron 11 is adding a new sneaker in its line of sneakers, and this time it is drenched in the orange and blue Knicks color scheme. The Nike LeBron line has been delivering dope orange and blue joints in the past, and there is no doubt that this new iteration will eventually hit store shelves in the near future. New Balance gives the famous 574 silhouette a modern twist with the unveiling of the limited edition Atmosphere 574 pack. The sneaker gets a color shifting treatment that is inspired by the light spectacle of an aurora borealis, which can be seen on its kaleidoscopic “N” branding.
