Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker has a history of debuting highly-anticipated Foamposites dating all the way back to last season. Well before their release dates, the “Suns” Foamposite, the “Safari” Foamposite and most recently the “Asteroid” Nike Air Foamposite Pro have all been spotted on Tucker’s feet first in regards to NBA players. Specifically, Tucker debuted the latter in the Suns’ 116-107 win last night against the Sacramento Kings. The “Asteroid” Foamposite Pro will release on December 20, 2013, at select retailers nationwide for $250. Reflecting back on the past seven days of shoe news, our team has taken the time to give their take on the recent standouts. In this week’s Staff Picks, you’ll find that although our tastes may vary, some kicks are just undeniable. Is there a staffer whose choice of kicks are always on point? The Trainerendor is a sneaker from the Nike SB line that has been getting a lot of nods lately because of its intuitive yet unusual design. Its sandwich mesh upper comes in an olive colorway and is nicely complemented by an adjustable black midfoot strap. A speckled Phylon midsole is also added on the design for lightweight cushioning. Its rubber outsole is styled with descending and climbing patterns to provide better traction. We are not much of a fan of the All Conditions Gear (ACG) branding on the tongue, but it is fine. The black Swoosh and yellow accented pull tab round up the look of this Nike SB sneaker. Let us know what you think of this skate sneaker.
