Carmelo Anthony and Jordan Brand celebrate their 10 years of collaborative success on sneakers and on court with the unveiling of the much-anticipated Jordan Melo M10. For his 10^th signature basketball sneaker with Jordan Brand, Carmelo Anthony has teamed up with iconic sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield to create a shoe that is a fitting symbolism of the 10 years that the NBA player has with the sneaker brand.

The new Jordan Melo sneaker features the Flight Plate technology, the same sneaker technology that has been used in some Jordan sneakers that have made significant on-court basketball shoe performance in the past. Aside from the Flight Plate technology, the commemorative sneaker also contains Nike’s dynamic fit technology to guarantee a lock-down fit and improved shoe performance. The Jordan Melo M10 will debut with the Black/DK Powder Blue colorway, which is slated to hit store shelves on January 4, 2014 at a suggested retail price of $165.

The Nike Roshe Run “Siren Red’ sneaker makes us think that shoe brands are into color blocking design aesthetics lately. “Growing up in New York, sneakers, especially Js, were always around me. It was like owning a pair made you feel like the GOAT himself. My Mother was always into keeping me fresh for school, so any Air Jordan that I wanted, I was blessed with. I remember it like it was yesterday: I wanted the “Bred” Air Jordan 11s for Christmas back in 2001. A couple of days before Christmas, my Mom put them on the floor next my bed while I was sleeping, and when i woke up… I became addicted to kicks. Now, not only do I lace myself up, I keep my son Robert, aka RG3, laced up. I have about 250 pairs myself, and my son has around 40-50, consisting of basically basketball kicks from Jordans, to LeBrons, KDs, Foams and Kobes.”

After playing the last eight games in various colorways of the Nike LeBron X PS Elite, King James finally returned to his 11th signature shoe in last night’s win against his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James finished with 25 points, nine assists and nine boards while wearing a new, silver and red Nike LeBron 11 PE. LeBron’s new 11 precisely features a silver Hyperposite overlay with red seen on the Hyperfuse/Flywire base and the overlay Swoosh. Nike also made use of a white outsole and red laces on this PE.
