The collaborations keep coming, this time with XLARGE dropping a first look at what they have in store from their recent dealings with Converse Japan. Focusing on the XR991 model, the duo take to the retro runner with an affinity for navy blue and suede, while managing to incorporate the du jour print of the year, camo, in nylon mesh form. Hits of 3M reflective material touch down on the toecaps and heel tab. The XLARGE x Converse Japan XR991 will release exclusively in Japan this December. On-Foot Look gets sweet this week and profiles this year’s Black Friday release from Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan 5 “Oreo” is the headliner on the biggest shopping day of the year, and has garnered some of the biggest buzz in the sneaker world. Minimalistic in its black and white style code, the Oreo 5s have unique color blocking and intricate detailing. A black suede base is soft to the touch and can be brushed different directions, while the midsole’s design is speckled and sits on an ice blue outsole. One of the easiest Air Jordans of the year to style, the simplicity of the SKU allows for increased creativity in other areas.

Originally just a photoshop project, four years later the PUMA Suede “Beijing” Custom has now been brought to life in multiple sizes. Created by Zhijun Wang to commemorate the 860th anniversary of Beijing City, this one of one design has been integrated onto both a wearing and super-sized silhouette. To go along with the normal sized sneaker, a size UK45 rendition was also made to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Puma Suede. A purple and baby blue upper is accented by red and yellow detailing to create a colorful custom. One by one, Reebok’s 30 collaborations to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Classic Leather are being checked off the list. After making an appearance a few weeks ago, Shoe Gallery’s stylized “Flamingos at War” mockup of the model is seen in detail. Featuring suede throughout, flamingo pink is seen presiding over the forefoot, backed by camo-printed shades of green. Set against the busy upper, brown calms things down via the midsole and leather inner lining, with tan setting up shop on the outsole.
